Worked yesterday and three days off now. Had a nice relaxing day. Did my exercise DVD this morning...this is only the 2nd round, but having to take a day off in between bc I was so sore! Called dentist office to change appt. Vacuumed bedroom and DS' room. Found a few cool toddler activities on pinterest that I did with DS, then bundled up and we took the dogs out for a walk around the neighborhood, back home for a 2 hr nap for the both of us. Washed a load of laundry, folded and put away two more, put away clean dishes and washed dirty ones, including a daunting crockpot. Wiped kitchen countertops clean.

Karen, I know what you mean about feeling old! I used to do triathlons before DS came along, and now can barely do a 20 min. exercise workout.

Just finished a stupid government survey - my 3rd in 3 years. How do I get off their mailing list? I'm afraid some of my answers were rather sarcastic (don't ask me the same question twice!)

Did my 2nd ride of the year, boy am I overweight and out of shape! frown

Got the tree and angels done. Also ironed the new duvet, and am attempting to assemble! (A little difficult to do alone).

Worked in the craft room, still more to do but much easier to find items and looks MUCH neater.

Did a little embroidery also as a reward today.

It has been quite a while since I have been on here.My email has changed since I first started here about 5 maybe 6 years ago. I couldn't remember my password or any thing so had to start up again, Then I forgot I changed providers and forgot that info and it took a while to finally figure out how to get back here. Hopefully when I sign out tonight I will be able to get back on. I hope I am set up to stay with you guys.

Today no one was home so I was able to vacuum the LR and entryway with no disruptions. The dog even let me clean.

Tree and ornaments were taken down and brought to the storage unit until next year. Now to figure out what pictures I want to hang.

Welcome back TexasNana! Hopefully you won't forget who you are! LOL

The girls and I helped DH load the truck with wood, then helped him unload it. I fixed a new version of our potato soup. I used sweet potatoes and it wasn't that bad! Sure warmed us up!

Helped DD#1 finish a speech she needed to have done. I'm so ready for the teacher at co-op to really teach them the ins and outs of writing one. We struggled through it.

Now I'm ready for bed!! I hope I'm ready for tomorrow! We're starting the second semester at co-op and the musical practice will be full steam ahead!

Tomorrow night I need to run errands, then crash at home! Wednesday I'll be getting ready for AWANA. I'm temporarily replacing a teacher for the little ones. Really need someone to take over permanently! I do enjoy the little ones, but I already have too much on my plate. Someone else needs to step up.

Nite all!

Printed off the branches details so I would have some guidelines to follow, and plan to alternate some domestic tasks with my deep clean out of the office space I am reclaiming so as not to fall behind. House is actually in pretty good shape but I like the idea of getting a schedule to things. Makes me feel more like I'll see success as it happens. smile

Fleur - I feel your pain literally this morning. I think I will be having a days rest from exercise. No point overdoing it smile

Diane D - I remember when I was lurking you spent a lot of time on your bike I am sure you are not as unfit as you think and you will be back to your best quickly.

Well the smoke alarm decided to go off at 2am then 3am then 3.30am. It is wired into the main electrics so we had to turn the ceiling lights fuse switch off then try to dismantle it. That took some doing. After that I could not sleep frown

Sooo I have done my ironing, cleaned all the doors of the kitchen cupboard, and organized the pots and pans cupboard. It's 6am here now so I think thats a good start to the day. I will be back later..........

Welcome back Sweatpea.

Im getting back to my normal routine today.

Iv got the sitting room dusted and vaccumed. Iv taken down the deocrations in here and just have the front room todo.

Its horrendously windy here (70mph) and in Scotland they have a red weather warning and winds over 100mph. Iv been chasing garbage and recycling bins around the road and bringing back to mine and neighbours property. I live on a main road so its pretty dangerous for them to be in the roads.

I kept my dog in today. He wasnt too impressed until he stuck his nose out the front door and made a very quick retreat indoors. LOL!

Purdy, how funny about the dog, mine does the same thing. I call it the "weather check".

I didn't have to go with Laura, her other friend took her. I went to the cable company and got my new box. Then I went to the hardware store and got some furniture slides to put on the new tv table. Went grocery shopping with a list that I stuck to.

Took Finn for a walk although it was quite cold. I called it my "wedding walk", got to keep trim as my DD's wedding could be this Spring if they find a place soon.

Tried for a half hour to get the stand on the new tv, the instructions were confusing or I am just getting old, LOL. Finally got it to go on. Now it is sitting on the floor in the LR as I can't lift it. Grrrr... sometimes you just need a husband. ROFL!!

I still have no way to get the old tv out of here. I guess I will have to ask the boys next door.

Today I have some work to schedule, then wait for the lawyer to call (again) to go sign the contracts before this deal falls through totally.

Made a nice healthy salad dinner last night, then we hit the mall for a lap around. The card store was having a fantastic sale (5 for a dollar) so picked up 10 cards for mothers/fathers day for parents and grandparents. Also picked up a few essentials at the dollar store. Did my workout video this morning...it wasn't bad at all. Guess the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Also made a dr's appt. for next week. Off to take a shower and then headed to the children's museum and lunch out with DS.
