Purdy:
Resting is good when you need it.

Waterlady:
I am so happy for your DD and you! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO.
How exciting and fun. Been thru two of my DDs weddings and there are times it is frustrating but, the good outweigh the bad!

Keeping up on your decluttering is inspiring to many of us!

Hoping to unslug myself today! Want to spiffy up the house for the new year, and get some of the decorations put away. Will do it in babysteps, as I want to go thru most of the items .

Busy as usual ladies!

Waterlady - Huge congrats to DD on her engagement.

Purdy - What a cute dog!

Well yesterday I was busy. I cleaned both bedrooms windows and the bathroom window. I also vacuumed the ground floor and did a load of laundry.

In the evening I hosted a family buffet for 11 people so I was busy in the afternoon preparing food.

Today I have been to visit my aunt and cousin and I also popped int town and had lunch with my dad. This evening the girls had our weekly meet but instead of tea and gossip we had wine. Lots of laughs as usual.

The plan for tomorrow is lunch with the in-laws and a quiet evening at home t see in the new year. Heres to 2012 and a fresh slate smile

I'll catch up with all you gals did later on! DH is out cutting wood and I'd like to help him.

So far this morning, the family and I have made blueberry pancaked and fruit smoothies, took down the rest of the Christmas stuff and boxed it all up, and DH has just a few more boxes to put in the attic.

DD#1 vacuumed the living room floor, and now we can rearrange the furniture. She also started some laundry and has been cleaning her room too. DD#2 cleaned the hall bathroom, and swept and mopped the K. floor.

YES, I love it when we all work together!! We're going to start the new year off on a good foot!!

Cya later!

Dianaro - Thanks my leg feels a bit better today.

Karen - His a cutie and he so works it, he flirts with every delivery person he can get his paws on LOL!

Today I did another 30 minutes in the bedroom. I began to sort through the boxes and got another bag to go to charity, one of waste paper and one of plastic bags. Iv also started to toss some paperwork out. I want to clear the boxes and then sort the next lot into it as before. That way its easy to put away after the times up and not get under my or my dogs feet.

Diana, LOL
I'm sure you made it out of slugdome, I was unsuccessful!

I did PUPA all over, DD didn't come, waiting for some news, don't know if she was coming after work or not but I got invited to a party; here's to being open to opportunities!

This morning I have a touch of the sniffles but managed to get rid of my headache. I need to get some groceries and prepare food for DM's buffet tomorrow evening. I took a shower and tried on some different outfits, didn't want that much stress at the last minute! i also made a list, I'm so afraid of being late or forgetting something important that I can't seem to wrap my head around it all. Paper helps keeping it manageable.

Don’t know if I'll be on again before I leave, so let me wish all of my GON family a happy New Year! May all your wishes come true, love and health to all!

Got a lot of filing done yesterday. Made new folders for 2012 for work, they are all done.

Started a 2012 Banking Binder. Tossed a ton of papers.

Walked Finn, did the usual in-town errands.

Last night I decided to empty out the Entertainment Center, there was three boxes in the cabinet part. It took me hours last night and again this morning to finally purge it all. I can't believe there was that much stuff in the boxes!

Tossed a box of cassettes to the shelter, some antenna's, frames, cd's and movies.

I'm all ready for the new table for the new tv to come. I just have to assemble it and the old monster can go. My DGF said her BIL may want it, and, if so, she will pick it up Monday. Otherwise, I think I can take it to Best Buy. The EC I may just break up and put it on the curb. The shelter is full of them and tv's, they don't want any more.

Got a lot done already today, need to run to town and maybe treat myself to a bottle of (cheap) champagne.

Great going everyone!
Bubblegum:
Hope the party is fun and you enjoy yourself.

Waterlady:
WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO on clearing out the entertainment center.
You have worked so darn hard these past couple of months!

Wendy:
good going on getting the tree down. I may do it tomorrow if I feel better (Sore throat, and resting inbetween things).

Bless:
I don't envy all that laundry!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got the villave packed away, cleaned the front hall window, the table, lamp, and mirror. More tomorrow. Also been putting my card embellishments in photo boxes so I can have them handy if I ever get to making cards again! LOL
Have a lovely evening all and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!
