Wendy - he certainly is but then I am totally

Today I decided to do as a certain organiser advises and not go on the internet/emails until after I had done my work for a bit.

So this morning after breakfast and dog walk I blizted my bedroom. Iv used 6 large totes to sort things into so I can go through them later on. Its opened up a lot of space and my dog can now get in bis bed without having to navigate the bedroom.

Im hoping to do a bit every morning so I can get that done. My normal housework can be done in the afternoon after lunch and a bit of a rest. Iv got the front room to tidy and a little bit of ironing so enough to keep me out of trouble. smile

Purdy, your pup is adorable!!

Finn is much better, back to his old self, I'm happy to say. He must have stolen something and ate it and it didn't agree at all with him. I stayed up till 5 am with him the night before.

I still haven't fully unpacked, I was too tired yesterday to do much. My kids got me a huge flat screen tv for Christmas, so I ordered a tv table online. Called the cable company to switch out my box. I'll be very happy to get rid of my entertainment center "monster", and the big, extremely heavy tv I currently have. And I will be able to clean behind it now!

Spoke to the lawyer twice about mom's, and numerous calls to DB and the realtor.

As ludicrous as it sounds, we still haven't signed the contract and I am really furious at my lawyer. If this sale doesn't go through, houses here have dropped another $10,000 since the offer was first made.

Saw Laura last night for a few minutes, she brought me a piece of quiche she made.

Today I have to wait for the lawyer's phone call, and hopefully drive down to his office (30 miles) and sign the papers. That will make tomorrow a really busy day for me to catch up on this week's work.

Cyd, ha ha you made me laugh! Even though I tend to take good care of my stuff and it last a long time, now I'm grateful for 'accidents' it means I can replace some of it with new and exciting stuff!!

Waterlady, sorry about the house, hopes it goes through quickly! Good news from DD though, congrats!

Okay, tonight is 6 out of 6 days working. Whew, so need the 3 days off that is coming! Kids need to go back to school! 8 mentally challenged kids in one house is too much too long... Holliday schedules and outings aren't helping. Getting back to routines will be greatly appreciated by all.

Been doing the bare necessities, kitchen and bathroom! I make my bed every day but the top of my dressers are getting cluttered and the living room need a good dusting; at least the coffee table is clean. Cooked myself a meal yesterday with leftovers for lunch today and flipped through a few magazines. This morning had breakfast with DD and her DBF who slept over, off they went, I washed the dishes and did laundry. I'll be doing a bit of sorting in DD's room as it has become a catch all. She said she'd sleep over tomorrow so will put the focus on that room for now.

Have a good day!

Purdy, he's adorable!

Girls and I have been doing great with schooling so far this week. I do need to do some correcting, but I'm becoming more disciplined about it.

Will be running errands after lunch. Then I'm thinking about packing up the Christmas stuff when we get back. Today I started thinking about all that needs to be done in the next few weeks and I have no idea how to get it all done...except for babysteps!

This is my list:
-take down Christmas stuff
-finish writing dates on photo calendars and mail
-finish wrapping a few presents and mail
-Organize musical stuff, (early practice and normal practice)
-Organize AWANA stuff. (we lost a leader and need someone to replace)
-plan DD#2's bday party (invitations, supplies, cake, etc)
-Make DD#'s bedding and draperies
-Paint DD#2's room
-All while continuing to homeschool, house chores and help DH with cutting and stacking wood.

Anyone want to come help?? I'm a little overwhelmed just thinking about it!

Waterlady:
WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO on your DDs engagement. WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO on the flat screen tv also. BOOOOOOOO to the lawyer!
Let hime make up if there is money lost, deduct it from his bill!!!

Purdy:
Awwwwww, I am in love with your puppy! What a cutie pie.

Wendy:
One thing at a time. Looks like you are doing fine, just don't think about ALL of it, just do one thing. The girls are old enough to help out so let them!

I celebrated with a 99 year old woman's birthdaytoday at lunch. Of course, I brought her a tiara and septer (sp?) to wear, and we taught her the proper way for a queen to wave. She has the funniest sense of humor and all her facilities. What fun we had. She use to come to our knitting sessions and unwind our yarn that we made messes of. Such a great woman.

Last night I went over to meet my friend's new puppy! What a cutie! He is adorable and sooooo energetic!

Hoping to pack up some of the decorations tomorrow, and sort thru some of the items I didn't use this year. Some of them are for the modern tree, so those will stay, but there was a lot more that I didn't use this year.

Texas Girl:
I just get in here in the morning, and then start in on the house, try and limit the time. If possible, don't go on the computer until you do some of the work, and then put the timer on for 15 minutes and do a babystep as a reward on the computer.

Quick trip to the orthodontist
Lunch with a close friend
Started making a new master list
Cleaned the entry hall:
*swept and mopped floors
*cleaned and oiled the woodwork and wainscot
*cleaned the glass front door
*cleaned the outside windows on the porch
*washed slipcovers and blankets
Shopped online for a new light fixture & found what I want

Friday
Pick up truck from the shop
Lunch with Mom, Sis and Niece
Shop for patio decor
Purchase light fixture for entry hall
All house cleaning for the weekend

DH has a chronic health condition with a poor prognosis and is not feeling well today. He worked all day, but I know he is bad because he usually doesn't admit to feeling bad even when I know he isn't well. I really need to get the common areas of the house cleaned up in case we make another trip to the hospital. Unfortunate motivator.

I stayed home yesterday, put all my work off until next week, I'll start the New Year off feeling that I have work, ROFL!

I'm supposed to go up to DB's country house tomorrow for the holiday, but I think I am going to stay home instead. Finn isn't 100% yet. I have had several invitations for New Year's Eve parties (popular, eh? LOL) but I think I might do my usual go to bed early.

It's going to be mild the next few days, I would like to get in the garage as much as I can.

DD has asked about Mom's wedding dress and it is packed in the hope chest in the garage (with mine). If anything, she wants a "piece" from it for her gown.

Ohh, this is going to be so much fun getting my daughter married!!!!! God has really blessed me!!!! It's so exciting!! They have set the date to the first available place they can find anytime after April.

I spent most of the morning looking for places online that "suit" their criteria. Found a couple of interesting sites.

Got some ebay packed up and shipped, took Finn for a ride, he was happy. Laura came over and I colored her hair for her.

Last night I cleaned the kitchen countertops real good. Put a new toilet seat on in the bathroom.

Office is starting to get out of control. I would like to start the new year with a good working space in here. I need to file everything this weekend, and start new files. It won't take more than an hour, so it is do-able. Have one month of sales to do (December) and my taxes are ready for the first time in years.

Have some energy today, hope to report a lot of productivity later!

Waterlady, Wendy and Dianaro - I can but agree with you - he is adoreable.

I got the washing done, the shopping arrived and put away and then ordered next weeks.

Dad went up to see the Nurse only to wait nearly and hour to find they had the wrong person - another with the same sounding name but different spelling. By that time it was getting abit late for lunch so he came home - with Diabetes you just have to eat regularly - so I'll be doing the dressing today frown

Taking a rest today, just dont feel up to much, I just cant be bothered lol!
