ROTFLOL! Funny yep that dance did me in. Did much more this morning, and then went out to lunch with my friend from next door. We haven't been meeting regularly lately so it was a lovely day. Invited her back for dessert and coffee.

Will do a little bit more today and then call it quits.

Good morning, all!

DD assembled all 3 chests of drawers (each is a different size) yesterday. And then, the electric screw driver quit on her! So, she kept it to charge overnight. Today, she needs to assemble the 2 bookcases. Once they are done and in place, then, we can finally put away her books and clothes and other belongings! Right now, everything is piled up in the 3rd bedroom!

My cousins have begun their stay with me, so, my schedule will pretty much depend on what they would like to see and do. So, I'm keeping my JDIs to a minimum:

- grocery shop
- assemble the soft toys that DD is crocheting
- Laundry
- water the garden
- sweep & mop kitchen floor

*deal with one stack of papers from desk

*clean/re-org pantry shelf

I wrote a long post and then lost it somehow! I forgot to copy it "just in case".

I survived Christmas! : ) and it is still that special time. We really enjoyed family and friends, and it was great to have some snow just to set the scene.

Now that the initial festivities are over, the turkey is stripped of meat for the freezer and the carcase is simmering on the stove. The house is not too untidy, so it is time to relax and enjoy leftovers!

Just have to write a couple of cards, and add the addresses to my list.

Did some embroidery today, and sorted thru some embellishments for my card making.

The get together with DCs went a couple of hours longer than I anticipated ~ but that was okay ~ it was good to connect I also connected with a friend in regards to a gift item I purchased through that needs to be returned (they need to send the right part) and talked with another friend in regards to the get together we are planning this wkend ~ which also involved me sending and replying to some emails.

I need to make that card and then I am going to bed
