Pulled everything out of my closet that wasn't hung up properly or in the case of shoes, in the right spot. Took out my big never ending ironing bin and have tackled about 1/4 of it so far. I have a closet in my bathroom that I really don't use at all because of the humidity in there. I think I'm going to move my sweatshirts in there. I rarely wear them (but still do sometimes) and this will get them out of my day to day closet. Time to toss a few of those.

DD took a big bag of clothes out of her room to donate, gave two practically brand new school sweatshirts to her friend's little brother and then made a bag for my friend's granddaughter.

She also tossed most of her first semester school papers and a ton of stuff from elementary and middle school, some of which we scanned first.

I finished cleaning the fridge today. Washed all the shelves & drawers. Relined the drawers with papertowels. I know there are some things from the freezer that can go, but we are having a bit of a warm spell,in the 50s today, so I don't want anything thawing in the trash.

Cleaned both bathrooms & dressing area sink & counter.

Will switch gears tomorrow. I want to take the Christmas tree down. I want it packed away by New Year's day, so I will start dismantling it tomorrow. For some reason, I'm ready for it to be gone. Not really concerned about the rest of the decorations, just the tree.

Checked the chemicals in the hot tub this morning and it was all cloudy and icky. Phooey, wasn't planning on doing that today! Oh well. Got it drained, cleaned and it's refilling right now. Will start the heater and pump as soon as it's filled and it will be ready to go maybe even by tonight since it's not that cold outside.

I tackled DS's clothes and toys the past few days. Many items were tossed. The plan is to finish sorting his stuff and go through our (DH and I) closet this weekend.

I have also ordered some new photos for the picture frames.

The Christmas tree is down. It & all the ornaments are packed & stored. I also packed up all the soft goods (stockings, wall hangings, etc.) & the Christmas towels. I will do the rest of the decorations in baby steps this week with the goal of being done by January 6th. DH vaccuumed the house.

I cleaned & disinfected the litter box & cleaned the mat under the litter box.

Plan to wash my bathroom rug today.

Will begin the year with a new toothbrush, new mascara & fresh baking soda in the fridge & freezer.

Finished all of the decorations last night and all the ornaments on the tree. This morning, DH took the tree apart and put it in the garage and brought back the large marble foyer table. I'm thrilled the table is back, I wasn't sure we'd get that done today.

My hope is that before dinner time tonight, all surfaces will be cleaned off and wiped down.

DH just left for the hotel. Won't see him until late tomorrow afternoon and DD is spending the night with friends. Will just be me, the dogs and cats tonight. Looking forward to a nice quiet, peaceful evening.

Boy you ladies don't fool around! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO

Kimberly
Love some of those quiet times!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While resting inbetween (have a sore throat) I deep cleaned my bathroom and vanity. Tossed a couple of things, and rearranged some others. Looking good, and first room done. Still have some closet work to do, but not in the mood.
Been sorting thru my card making embellishments also. Just need to label the boxes and put them away.
