Landscaper came and did the driveway, really didn't need him to do it, most of it is melting!

Will wrap later. Made huge progress today. Got the filing done
(left from DESK DAY), and did the floors, working on laundry, and ETEing.

diana, you said a 4 letter word <lol> you can keep it to yourself as my whole city shuts down if we get an INCH of the white stuff!

Now I know why I was feeling so off colour. Yesterday after morning shopping I developed a full blown bladder infection which did not respond to resting on the bed, cranberry juice and water. By late afternoon I was ready to head for the ER, and very thankful for a small hospital with no long wait, and access to a washroom every 10 minutes.

Modern drugs can be wonderful. One antibiotic pill calmed things down, and I spent the evening resting in bed, reading and knitting the wee blanket for DGD's doll cradle.

Staying in out of the cold today, with more bed rest for a while. Tree was brought in yesterday morning and lights put on. I'm putting on a few ornaments from time to time, still lots to go. By the way, Diana, the tree came from our lot which is 3 acres. (Any evergreens on the south side are fair game as they grow up to block the winter sun.)

-12°C here, and sunny. Just the remains of last month's snow. Oops, I said that word, Mary!

Bushlady: Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Do rest as much as possible.

Last class for the year! Have a doctor's appt and then I can finish up the wrapping and get the house in order. Will shop for the few items I need later and then can stay home. Joyful, joyful! Happy dancing.

Next year, I will be choose only the classes I really want. My plan is to go thru everything, magazines, books, crafts, etc.
You all are so inspiring, even though I have been here forever, there is always work to be done, as my ideas, etc., have changed.
While I can do the lifting, etc., I want to get it all done.

Hi all, remember me? LOL...

I have a cookie exchange to go to tonight. So far I have no cookies baked... I do have some "trial" dough mixed up though. DD1 was sick in the middle of the night. She's well enough to go to school (I think) but whe wanted to stay home so I let her (for now). She's driving me crazy already ~ actually I wish I could just sit and look at the year book with her that she's pouring over... I'm not feeling so hot myself (better than yesterday) and my cookie exchange hostess was sick yesterday ~ so we'll see...
