Got the dishes put away, and all cleaned up with the help of one of my DDILs. This morning I finished up some items and had to leave for the day. It was a good idea to have back to back luncheons, and the best thing is the house is all decorated for the holidays. Now finish up the gifts and send and then do the cards.

Got my DR done yesterday. Ready for Christmas, tablecloth and table decorations all done in there. If I see some Christmas garland, will put it on top of the China cabinet with some lights.

Porch still has the sewing machine out and the ironing board, that will only take a few minutes to put away. Still deciding if I want to sew some things for Christmas, I think I will have time next week.

Office is next, it's a mess again.

Weren't you dealing with taxes, etc. so that would be a reasonable reason for the office to be a mess. After you clean it up, you will have a handle on things and progress from there Waterlady.

Took down the curtains in the office, washed, dried and ironed them, put them back up . Took down the window blind (did the other one recently), washed, dried it outside and rehung.

Got a good start on the office.

Yes Diana, I worked on back taxes since May. DGF and I just reconciled this past year of work, I am done for this years taxes except for December's work.

Good going Fleur! DH is pretty good on helping with the house or the baby so you both can do it! YOUR GONers!

Bubblegum:
Don't be so hard on yourself. Look at all you did already, changing out the bedroom, etc. We forget the good things and only see what is left! (((((HUGS)))))))0

Waterlady:
Great going on the curtains and blinds.

Haven't been home. Gathered up the items for wrapping, but need to get them finished and put away.

Assembled and set up the family room sofas, yesterday. Need to assemble the coffee table tonight. Plan to set up the Christmas tree this weekend.

Yahoo Bless, you have a whole, new skill set! I find those assembly instructions can be confusing. Got the Ikea bookcase put together without problem...knew it was too easy to be ok. As soon as it was wrestled up the stairs into the home office I realized I'd installed the top so that the unfinished side was strikingly visible...installed upside down. No room to lay so it had to be wrestled back downstairs, dis-assembled, reassembled etc.

Lots of sorting and tossing in the bedrooms. New drawers are assembled so that is one room looking good smile
