No I can't believe it is December and that Santa will be here in just a few days. We are having freezing temperatures tonight so that will make it feel a little more like winter.

I too will be concentrating on decorations (and keeping the dogs out of the tree) and preparations, along with the garage as my ROTM.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is doing.

A cyber ornament to all of you for your hard work on your ROTM this past month. You all did such hard work and accomplished so much! You should be proud and happy with your accomplishments.

By my doing the decorations, etc. as the ROTM this month, that puts the basement on hold, but honestly it is in the best shape it has ever been! There is only some minor things to clear up, but clear up they must be eventually.

I would like to bake this year also. I needed that push (the luncheon) and the UFP group starting up this year to get me going again. I didn't realize that I was that down. Thanks to all of you and your progress, you got me motivated! grin

My ROTM is whole house as well. The motivation yesterday was minimal so the only thing done was 2 loads of laundry. This morning is starting better. 2 large cups of coffee and a BLT plus avocado sandwich for breakfast started the day right.

Kitchen has been cleaned, dishes done, fridge cleaned out, counters and floor swept, just need a mopping. Dining room has been dusted and wiped down and floors swept, the rug is in the wash and just need a mopping in there too.Went to the basement and remade bed down there and did a quick once over after SO's son was here. He has been exceptional about keeping the place picked up as he loves having "his space" and has been told by me and SO that if he leaves it a mess, he could lose it....NOT!

Main bath and half bath are both done and the rugs are in the wash, only quick mopping left to do. Washed bedding from guest room after DB's stay and just made the bed. A quick dust and sweep in there and the same in the master and that will be done.

I am thinking one more hour of real work then the holiday stuff. also planning on office time either today or after work tomorrow....that one room that just doesn't seem to get together needs to be finished so I don't go out of my way doing other things to avoid it!! (in doubt? see the to do and done list above)

The rest of the day will be spent in pulling together the holiday decor. The boxes with the nutcrackers for the mantle are up from the basement, the 5 foot stocking just got pulled out for the door, and will try to get the tree down(didn't happen last nite)

Whole house, with focus on DD's bedroom (still need to order the furniture she picked and, perhaps, paint the room), the family room (need to order new seating and eventually, paint the room) and the kitchen (floor needs to be redone!)

Good going ladies!

I am unpacking some of the angels and the ceramic village to display.

Home tomorrow and the weekend, other than church, so should make some good headway!

I am going to work on the closets in the house. I would like to rearrange the office and guest room closets. I need to come up with a list of tasks and post it.
