That is for sure Halebop! Being here so long, it gets easier, and there isn't as much to contend with, but, life happens and we need to keep a reign on what goes in and goes out.
It has been nice doing a room at a time, and hopefully being able to get things done in babysteps.
Hope to get a lot of stuff out of here this upcoming year.

Wow, it is December, and I still haven't finished going thru the container on my dining room table and that's all I put as my room for last month when there is really the whole room. I selected just the table in the hopes that it would get done.
It seems as though DMIL will be coming at some point over the holidays so now I have extra motivation to get this done.
I have gone thru some more things but other stuff happened and I didn't get to finish this.
So I am going to try even harder now to at least clear out the container on the table over the next week.

Hey, Turn It Up, at least you now have a container to hold the items on the dining room table. I remember when you didn't so that is a great improvement. Get a cover for the container and place it in a closet if you run out of time! LOL

So I just got my office motivation! Got a call from the irs, almost a year to the day since I submitted my paperwork to them. Since my life has changed, they need lots of new information before we can go on with this, even though they have told me they won't accept the offer. So for the next 2 weeks, I need to get together all the info they are asking for, need to get taxes done(already called my accountant and need to meet him on Wed of next week), and need to get everything submitted.....by 12-22....coincidentally the 2 year anniversary of my divorce being finalized.
Also heard from the mortgage company too. Looks like they are going to approve the modification. Should know something in the next 2 weeks. If this goes through, I should save about two hundred a month. Not a lot but every little bit counts, and it will be a permanent change. Seems like the week before christmas is a pivotal one for me.
So.....ho ho ho....
Still have not even put the tree or decor up....tree is in parts in the center of the living room waiting for me....only thing done is hanging the stocking on the door.
I am off this weekend, will be in the office for sure, but also want to get the tree up. SO has his son so they are going to try to go hunting (powder time still can do), so should have some quiet time for me.

BL: Hoping all the good things happen to you before the new year. The tree will get up, it isn't even the 10th yet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ Been moving along with the house. Have done the bedrooms and will do the bath in the morning. If I need to the floors this evening or early tomorrow. Have to set up the dining room table and put the pads and tablecloth on. It is going to be a buffet so the dishes will be on the buffet.
The house itself is in pretty good shape with the exception of the office. I make a point of ETE and PUPA every night so it stays pretty good Have a few things in kitchen and dining room needing some attention but will tackle that while SO and his son are out hunting (we are in powder season now). Am off this weekend so want to get the tree and mantle done, preferably while the guys are out. Then the plan is to marathon it in the office. focusing on the task at hand will get things done and really make a difference in there...I see where I need to do tweaking and more tossing...its just actually getting in there and doin it.
Unfortunately not the progress I wanted this weekend. SO was sick all week so guess who ended up with it this weekend??
It did slow me down considerably. Did manage to get the tree up and all the other decorations I wanted put up too and all the boxes put away. SO and I decided to get us all stockings so went to WalMart and for just under $20 got camo ones for DB and his son. Also got us each simple ones and got a nice one for his daughter too. My task this week is to add names to them...already have the glue and glitter so it is just taking the time.
The real work will be office as irs stuff must be submitted for re-evaluation by the 21st of the month and I need to meet my accountant on thurs to get this done.
Also had a filling crack so dental appointment on Wed to fix that too-they gave me a temp so it won't be a problem between appts. Unfortunately an old filling cracked Friday afternoon.
When it rains, it pours. I am still sick but nursing myself along and not pushing it....off to work now.
