Impressed as always ladies.
Christmas shopping and wrapping will have to wait until at least Saturday (only flying out of here on Friday night) but still got lots of stuff to do both at home in terms of cleaning and packing and wonderful stuff at school such as Christmas dinner at school and the Christmas concert tomorrow.

good idea Bless......SO's sister(not the ex roomie) informed us that their folks want a Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas....and between she and I we found a great deal, so the last gift I am involved in has been purchased.
The only things I need to do now are putting names on stockings, wrapping presents, and a once over in the house. Still haven't decided what the main entree is for Christmas, ham or turkey, or maybe roast pork loin. Also need to make the cheese biscuits for smas day.
the only other thing i am working on is to get over this cold.

Good going BL! Take care and do something easy so you can enjoy christmas dinner without too much fuss.
Hoping to come back tomorrow with all my wrapping done.

So I thought I was done shopping.....not.
SO really wants a classic car, something not in any budgets, not even our dreams! It is a 69 road runner and the local classic car store wants $35k, SO knows the buyer and they will sell it to him at his cost, still way too much. So I decided to see if I could find him a model of it....lots of online looking and I dound out that the tv show, Dukes of Hazzard, from the 70's featured that car, the one that Daisy Dukes drove. A little more research and I ordered it on Tuesday from the local hobby store and will pick it up today for just $20. DB loved that show and while there, I saw another vehicle from that show that was glow in the dark(which DB loves) and is easy assembly (no glue needed) which his caregiver will love as well....soooooo will pick both up today after work.
will spend the next few days sorting things out and wrapping gifts and doing stockings.

I will be handing out the first Christmas gift this Sunday and I need to decide what it will be! The only gifts I've made so far have been the placemats, but I already gave this friend a set of placemats 2 years ago for Christmas. I guess I'll be doing some baking tonight or tomorrow night!

Placemats get dirty or washed out. Never too many placemats in my opinion. Just the fact they are hand made is special to me.
