wed i read the hite report for another hr 1/2. thu i read it for 45min before bed.

thu we went out to dinner for thanksgiving

fri i tried to go to a meeting w friend, but i was mistaken about the starting time, so missed it

Family goals are going great. Here is a photo of me, DH and DS with my aunts, uncles and cousins at my cousin Ashley's homecoming parade from his tour of Afghan



I also saw my dad yesterday and spoke to him today. I even spoke to DM briefly although she chose not to come to the parade with us and stood elsewhere to watch it then went home. I did not even react to her segregating herself. It was my cousins day and we had a great time watching the parade and then at the medal ceremony afterwards.

Oh and it has rained all week so the garden goals are on hold. Never mind

Made a list up for items I need to get together this week to pass out, and also want to start my cards today.

Thanks Mary and Diana. Diana yes he was impressed if a little embarrassed. He text me last night to thank me again and to tell me he loved me, bless him! It is him and his sister who I used to look after in the school holidays when I was at college and university, so we are very close. His sister Rachael is squatting beside him I can't believe my baby cousins are all grown up, and I am so proud of them both

Garden Goal Update
We put some more paving slabs down today. DH was home so it took us hardly anytime. We are going to finish it next weekend.

Goal update on school and college
Today I was in school all day and I managed to get copies of policies etc that relate to my college assignment.

I will not be volunteering Wednesday as all public sector employees (teachers, police, local government staff, social workers, nurses, refuse collectors etc etc) are taking part in the biggest strike the country has seen for years.
