Holy, Moley Cow! It's the last day of July, and I've made my August goals list. WOOHOO!!! (Of course, it's a work in progress....but at least it's "in progress" this time instead of non-existent. LOL)

August Goals

DD:
- Help her sign up for courses at college (Yes, my baby girl will be taking a couple of courses at the local college this semester. She's only a high school junior, but they allow some students, with recommendations, to take courses there for free. She will be getting high school credit AND college credit at the same time.)
- Starts school Aug. 15th
- Meet with school counselor/advisor Aug. 15th – Take Immunization card
- Correct Psychology papers from summer


Work: (will have to wait until Monday to fill this area)


Home:
- Arrange for trash pickup
- Water yard 2-3x/week
- Borrow weed eater or lawnmower from parents’ house
- Make master list for each room
- Pay bills 2x/month on pay day
- Paint cabinet that is in the garage and bring it in to use in dining room (Depending upon the heat, I may postpone this until it gets cooler.)
- Take new key to property manager along with August rent


Personal:
- Continue to remain strong and reclaim my life
- DS birthday 24th
- Read Sisterchicks series books (I have 4 checked out of library right now)
- Decide on next craft/sewing project and start

I have four goals ready, and I posted them in front of my computer. So I am already very proud of myself. July goals were to be able to claim some sanity back, and sort through all the goals that were not realistic, so I did a good job coming up with those four!

One of them is: go to bed at 10:00 and I have already passed my limit now, so off I go!

i only went to bj's 1x in july (happy dancing)

we went out 2 x for something to eat this last week - 1x was ice cream other was take out chicken livers. i split the small into 3 meals and froze 1

i was c/u on errands last mon. tomorrow i'm going back to the dr for my sinus infection and will probably have mike p/u the prescription.

also will need to get my shot tues, then out to lunch w a friend wed

i think i posted that i did my bathroom for the 'something extra' cleaning this week and finished the 2nd day of reg cleaning, so i'm in good shape

i think i'll do mike's bathroom this coming weekend and will post on follow thru

Good to see you are making progress....those babysteps do accomplish things, just slower.

Didn't think I would post this morning, but up early, so here I am! LOL

I know this type of thing doesn't usually get posted on here and this is a difficult situation anyway, but I have a prayer request that I wanted to get out to everyone.

Prayer request: R. had a stroke this morning and was airlifted to the hospital. Can't give more details at this time. Just quickly wanted to get this out there to everyone.

R as in your EX-fiance? Wow. That's a shocker for you I'm sure. Please be sure to stick to your guns and not get sucked back into that situation emotionally.

Oh, my, Carol! That is a tough situation, isn't it? Does this change things for you? I hope you have the strength and the courage to decide what is best for you and your DD. Take care of yourself.
