I know a woman who, along with her son, was abused after her marriage. She got out as soon as she could. Such people rarely change, so I think you made the right decision.

Nevertheless, what a difficult situation you are in, and I hope it goes as well as possible for you. I will be praying for you and for your whole family, including your father.

still haven't made it to the rec center to play bridge ... the wkend of the 4th i had a lot of other things going, next week mike's dgs's were here and this last week i was just too tired b/c i had to go to the base at 8am 2 days in a row. this week doesn't look good either b/c i've got 3 appts

we ate out every week so far
i cleaned fri and sat and managed to get done what i had planned for sun on fri

i finished reading the book of short stories sun night at 1130pm and got down another book to read. i don't think i'll be finishing it til mid aug tho

i haven't worked much on p* projects this week other than finishing the book

I completed one goal - attend the monthly prayer meeting - this weekend and crossed it off my list.

To all who are dealing with health and personal problems, I wish you well... also makes my life seem less complicated and a little easier to deal with. I am humbled by your triumphs.

I seem to 'appear' once a month in this thread... so goal number one is to post at least twice this month (keeping it simple!)
