Talk to the bank; when we opened our new one, and updated DBA paperwork, we filled out the DBA and Business license stuff right there, deposited funds into the account, and paid fees out of the account.

After I got the required papers, I opened my business checking. The first check I wrote was one to myself to pay my personal account back for the business expenses. Of course I had the receipts to back it up.

Just spoke to an old friend who is a graphic designer (my father was as well and this is an friend of his) and he's working on logos for me.
I sent in my Fictitious Business Name Statement to the County today to help secure the name.
And the name is: Amethyst Organizing. Yes, I'm a February baby and that's my birthstone. I have always tended towards purple in most things I do. After 45 years, I don't see this changing!
Amethysts are used to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive. I just love that line. I was just about to paint my office in a frosty light blue but might have to reconsider! :-)

How exciting to be starting a new venture. Lovely name, practical to be in 'A' listing.

I love your new name. By the way, people who surround themselves with lots of purple are more intelligent. I read that and cut it out to send to my sister, a purple lover.

I love that name and 'keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive' is a great start to an interesting and informative tagline. If you can work that in it will set you off from the rest of the PO's lol
