Good Morning
So how did you do last month in your ROTM? Were you able to complete it? I just have some sweeping to do in the garage and that is pretty well done. Have a few odds and ends that need to be done, but nothing huge.

The basement is another topic! LOL It is soooo much better than 3 years ago, after Mom passed away, but still needs about 1/2 done. Just rearranging and putting all alikes together.

What are you going to do? Post and let us know. Planning is most of the battle you know.

I selected the whole house as my June ROTM and I think I did really well! laugh Every room of the house got a "once over", some were gone over a couple of times, and others got a good deep cleaning.

I guess I will pick the garage and shed next, as my ROTM. I'll try to get some baby steps done in both. But the temps are forecasted to be 100F this weekend and next week, so, I don't promise much! laugh Not that it would be that much cooler in my house (no a/c)

Shed:
- bag up remaining recyclables
- take all to recycling center
- see if any of the items on the shelves need decluttering
- hose out the floor ?

Garage:
- DECLUTTER
- remove cobwebs
- sweep
- reorganize what is left

I'm realizing that I need to focus on finishing projects rather than try to *organize* them. So, I'm going to declare my office/laundry/craft room as my ROTY.

*clear off desk
*clear off table
*re-org desk/table
*go through 2 dishpans of paper
*go through 2-3 baskets of paper
*go through binders
*scrapbook (Feb - June)
*deliver donations
*org gifts with wrapping paper/cards to take with in Aug

there's more but that's a start...

Glad to have you join me! We can do this one step at a time.
I really really want to finish up the basement so I can do my card making, etc. down there!

I cleared off my desk yesterday and moved my in progress scrapbook pages onto it ~ they are safer there from people walking by, wet hair being combed, and people using the table as a dumping ground.

Hoping to do a babystep or two downstairs today.

Maureen:
That sounds like a good solution, and seeing the in progress pages can prompt you to do a mini step in working on them, or even journaling.

Well I did get a lot done last month even if I didn't get anything posted. Garage and garden shed is neat and picked up. I do want to donate a bunch of pots though. Attic is on hold in this heat. Working on guest room. Hopeully finish it today or tomorrow.

This month is the wine tasting party and trip to Texas. I've got the evite done just waiting on sending. Wine is bought. Menu is in the works. Will work on decoration when I take the Fourth's down.

Need to plan shopping and fixing around trip to Texas. It will be a rush but I want to do it. I think it'll be ok especially if I post along.

Texas is to see MIL and do some shopping at outlet mall. Can't wait for the shopping. Wish we had an extra day but DD probably won't hear of it.

Also helping DM do their house along. This heat keeps us from working very long at a time which is good. I can only handle it for so long.

Ok right now is nap time. We shot fireworks last night. Really late night.

Well my computer has crashed or sometrhing. Nothing comes on when I turn it on. Luckily I have my laptop from school for another week but then it has to go back. I'd like to just get a new one but don't know what to buy.

I haven't done much today except invite people to party so it's a go. Sure hope I can pull it off. I've made my menu and amfiguring on the stations for the different wines. It's a strange group of friends so it should bbe fun.

Tomorrow I do plan on finishing the guest room. Should only take a few minutes. Also wash clothes and decide what to wear in TX. Nothing like getting in a hurry.

right now I'm going to go shot fireworks.
