Good Morning:
Wow hard to believe its already the 9th of May. I have been busy getting stuff done and enjoying time with my family at the same time.
I had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend and I hope you all did as well. Saturday was very productive, DH tends to Hem and haw about purchasing things and for months we were going back and forth about things, but he had me meet him and FINALLY got new tires on my car, which may not seem like a lot to some people but to me it was exciting. Needed good ones to tow the trailer and my personal favorite driving on the beach, so I am all set for summer! While we were there we finally bought a nice new grill and lawn mower...yippee! He took me and the girls to lunch, treated me to a manicure and some candles from my favorite store. It was a wonderful day.
Sunday: I was waited on by everyone. Oil change done on my car, house cleaning, the kids cleaned out and vacuumed my car and the biggest bonus was DH finally put my File cabinet together so I can start filing another exciting thing. Plus I had the best steak dinner ever grilled on my new grill so it was very productive
Not sure if I mentioned it but my computer that was fixed a couple of weeks ago, broke again so its at the shop and ready today, better be at no charge to me
So I already did a bunch of running around today by here is todays list.
*4 loads of laundry, washed, dried and put away *Empty and reload dishwasher *PUPA and ETE in LR and kitchen *File permits for jobs *Bank *Drop of DDs script and pharmacy *Pick up DDs and twins scripts at pharmacy *Store *Type up and email 2 bids to state *Email invoice and permits to state *Schedule estimates and tune-ups *Pick up computer *GO through 1 stack of papers *Implement filing system *Pay bills
But before I do anything else think I will take the girls outside to enjoy the sunshine for a bit.

Diana: as I mentioned in the gardening thread, he's a bit leery of trimming the hedge due to the "evidence" my growing family of cats tend to leave behind! JDIs for today: - Empty all the waste bins- Clean out the fridge - Trash cans to the curb- Cook the chicken - still not thawed enough! - Sweep & mop kitchen floor - Wipe kitchen counters, stove top- Shine sink

Today's JDIs - bought a bag of food
- practised typing
- scrubbed bird cage
- made pasta salad
- vacuumed apartment
It's been a weird day. All the birch pollen make me cry despite the meds. This year it's exceptionally bad, all the cars are covered in green dust. Since the light is so great I plan to go on a photo safari tomorrow anyway. I better take enough tissues.

Kim Sounded like a productive and wonderful weekend for all of you!
Bless: I commented on the thread about him! Too funny for words.
Jazzlady: Good going on your routines!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I didn't get to volunteer today, woke up with a touch of vertigo, and mostly I am bending and putting books away when I volunteer, and that is when I get dizzy! I called and asked if there was something else I could do, but they said to stay home and rest.....so I took half a pill and slept, and slept and slept! I did do some sewing, planting and learned what to feed the grandfish when DS2 and DDIL are gone! I am fine if I don't bend down or move too quickly. Have this all the time during allergy season which is why I have the pills handy.
So, I didn't get my entire list done, but close enough.
Didnt get to update today because my son confiscated his laptop because he has a research paper due..the nerve of him lol. But I got my computer back and hooked up so I am happy.
Got everything done but those pesky paper stacks that are haunting me, they will get done and filed though by weeks end. DH is going out of town for a couple of days to tour a new boiler factory so I will be bored and need something to do at night...LOL
Jazz: Hope the pollen won't bother you too much.
Diana: Hope your vertigo goes away! That's good that you stayed home and rested.
Kim, I don't know how you do all what you do!
I did most of my list. Didn't cook the chicken as it was still frozen. Also, didn't sweep and mop the kitchen. Will do that tomorrow.
Hi all! had a busy day yesterday. Did 7 loads of laundry, cleaned both bathrooms, vacuumed the floor, took out all the trash, cleaned 1/3 of the kitchen cupboards inside/out, washed all my cups/glasses/small plates and bowls by hand, tore out the personal info on a huge stack of catalogs, did the shredding, emptied the shredder, cleaned off the dryer, washed DD's window, and made a lemon meringue pie. (Did I mention that my Doctor upped my thyroid meds?!)
Today's JDI: *measure out meds DONE *order meds *wash sheets/ make beds *desk day *clean out fridge *dust *wash floor *ribs in for supper *library *soccer practice
Maureen: That's what I need!!!!!!! Thyroid meds.......goodness you were a an attack machine there girl! Whew, tired just reading it. I, on the other hand did the minimum of everything. Finally crashing!!!!!! The vertigo is gone, but my energy isn't back.
I did put the items on the screened in out, and dusted and wiped down the furniture cushions (covered over the winter) and also planted a few of the plants I bought on Sat., but that was all. Going to rest another day, and just do the minimum. This happens from time to time, I need a break from all of it.
I did check the main bathroom for branches today, and did some dusting and cleaning, and want to change out the shower curtain this week for the summer time and the other embellishments that go with it.
