Tina – good luck in your new job!
My day sort of evolved. It all began when I noticed I had almost run out of bread. I am picky when it comes to bread, so a visit to the nearby bakery won't do. It has to be the traditionally manufactured bread from the organic food market or the organic bakery.

So at the very least I was required to make a trip to the mall.
I already had a short list of a few things I wanted to pick up there. And while I opened that list on my computer I was thinking it was time to stop working with two monitors, but only one keyboard. It IS difficult to type when you have to look over your shoulder to see what you are doing. So I added a keyboard to my shopping list. Of course I had to do a little online research on keyboards first, just so I would know what to keep in mind.
I went to the mall, bought bread and a nice little keyboard that fits my limited desk space perfectly, but still has standard sized keys (not the little netbook keys). Then I checked the gardening shops for fresh herbs. I'm not sure if I want soil and seeds or if I want plants. I just looked around, I didn't want to carry all that much home anyway.
Then I inspected one clothes shop and discovered that this year's trend in sports clothes is definitely “candy colour”.

I was looking for “work at home” pants. I usually wear some kind of sports pants at home, because I want something I can wear, wash, dry, repeat and look respectable in. Recently I have been rather cheap with my sports pants, but now I changed my mind after one pair of pants quite literally fell apart after the first wash. I was somewhat overwhelmed with the selection in the store. I eventually tried several pairs of pants and actually found and bought one that met my expectations. Hooray!
It was the first time I had seen myself in a full sized mirror in a while. I guess that extra hip padding plans to stay. I, however, plan to take lots of pictures this spring, summer and fall though – and to do that I will have to walk around quite a bit. Maybe that will make an impression on my shape.
On the way home I stopped by my favourite drug store and added a few supplies.
Now it's supper time already. I will have leftovers and then there are still quite a few thing to put away. I think I will experiment with a new arrangement of my desk space tomorrow. It works now, but I think it could be better.
