I had a light bulb moment yesterday, and am so far pleased with my efforts. I have several 12X12 scrapbook kits that come in "pizza" boxes. I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a set of 12x12 stacking trays that I could keep scrapbook pages in progress stacked but easily accesible. I realized that the boxes were perfect ~ they stack well and are very sturdy. I cut the front side and the flap off and voila!

Ann: I heard about the political change expected as a result of your elections, this morning.
I am sending you cyber lemons and roses from my garden. The roses are a bit crisp around the edges of their petals because we've had 90F the last few days.

Ladies, do you really want to be grilled in 90s temps? I was a bit cold in my summer jacket today, but I think that's still better than sweating when there are no more clothes to be taken off. Another couple of weeks and we will have roses too. I wouldn't mind some lemons though. Lemon juice in my tea sounds good while it is still cold and damp.

I don't recall seeing anything about the Canadian election. This just shows how the USA could learn from Canada - not to drag out our campaigning, which seems already to have started a year and a half in advance. Hope the results will be positive in Cansda.

Hello everyone, quick update prior to going to bed. ZZZZ.....

Yes, we all went out and played in the snow yesterday- if you have it, you might as well enjoy it. Its already melting considerably and the mud is starting to rear its ugly head again- it was just starting to dry out.

And yes, Bless, I will start throwing virtual snowballs through the computer soon, so you better duck. LOL! Just kidding.....well, we did throw snowballs at our friend's houses last night. So maybe we are just big kids at heart.

Although, not happy about the political changes in Canada, we had a very historic election which hopefully will change the political climate in our country. Yes, this election was just 6 weeks long from start to finish.

Update on Today's list:
-scan paperwork (took the first step- sorted into rough folders based on subject)
-more dishes (pre-cooked meals for the week)(done)
-fold and put away laundry (done)
-remake bed (done and it is calling my name)

Tomorrow's JDI list:
-write acceptance letter for job position

-quick wipe of the bathroom
-take out garbage/clean out fridge
-get paperwork into binders possibly to head towards scanning

I spent the evening, yesterday, doing other things and not what was on my list! But that's OK - sister called with some exciting good news so I had to talk to her for awhile and later, my neighbor came over with some sad news and I sat and spoke to her for some time.

So, today's JDI will be to do yesterday's JDI list!
