laundry in.
1 load folded put in closet next.
Shower and wash hair. I should never let it go beyond 3 days ,it really makes me miserable but if I dont do it at beginning of a day the day passes so its the next job I do. Believe it or not there are some days even a shower is too hard for me But I have found a wonderful waterless shampoo. Not the horrible powder stuff. This actually creates a lather which you just towel dry. I guess I have to turn to these care products.I have been reading a wonderful book (the dirt on clean). It is amazing how the human race has had to deal with cleanliness issue through the ages. Thats quite a detour from my JDI list. I just thought it an interesting comment how we women have felt through time and dealt with this aspect of our lives. Ann 39
I have been walking Charlie for at least 15 mins a day .Not much but something.

Diana, yes, it was a long list, wasn't it?

I did some of the listed items and a few others that weren't listed, such as:
- visited my cousin
- cleaned the stove, sink and counters
- swept the kitchen floor
- washed my hair
- did some weekly bulk cooking (browned ground beef, divided in portions and used some for dinner and froze the rest)
- repaired the sliding glass door handle, cleaned the tracks
- wrote e-mails
- chatted with a friend
- took some pictures of my garden

Maybe I should post my Just DID It list, instead!

Today's list:

- May budget
- weekly menu plan
- pharmacy
- put away last load of laundry
- paperwork/bills
- mop kitchen
- take out trash
- feed compost
- sweep family room

Tina – Snow? The first week of May? Oh dear!
Ann – I took a look at the book you mentioned. Interesting indeed.

I've got to make sure my home isn't falling apart while I loose track of time working on my computer stuff.

Today's JDIs
  • tidied kitchen
  • vacuumed apartment
  • put away clothes and decided to toss a few of them
  • planned my first music video and completed half of it smile

After I had the bathroom ceiling redone from water damage, I decided since the bathroom was a mess already (from cleaning, etc.), and the bathroom was last painted in 1996, I would paint it. And I did! Over this past weekend. I'd not expected it to take so long, because the paintable surface was only about half the length of the walls, the rest being tiles. But because the bathroom is so small, and the ladder could only be positioned certain ways (step stool too short), it was very time-consuming. But it looks good. I got a new blind for the window, too, one with larger vinyl slats instead of tiny metal ones, which looks better and will be much easier to clean. I'm eager to do more things around the house, but will need to focus on part-time work and gardening before tackling any more major projects. I'm gratified because this one didn't drag on and on.
