It is pouring with rain, here. Had planned to go shopping/groceries, but I think I'll just stay home! Don't want to go out, get wet and have a relapse.
JDIs for today:
- Put away stalagmite of clean dishes! - Attend to paper stalagmite! - STARTED - Put away stock-up items from yesterday's shopping

Everyone is working so hard. I am really impressed by everyone's hard work.
I enjoyed your stalagmite stories Bless! I agree you don't want to take a chance on relapsing.
I had a rough week and I am still not feeling 100% (although about 95% better). Still having slight stomach issues.
Today's JDI List: -gather tax stuff together -fold and put away laundry -load of dishes -make shopping list

Now that my right hand is out of a cast I'm better able to clean! So we leave tomorrow & have invited the new neighbors here for drinks & appetizers to "Welcome" them tonight (next door; couple from Seattle) so have done bathrooms, kitchen, entryway, hallway & bathroom floors (have knee guards that I bought 2nd hand from a sports shop--like what hockey players wear so I can protect my knees when cleaning floors on hands & knees!! Quite a sight, I'm sure!).
So doing laundry, got dinner in the crock pot, packing--but return in less than 2 weeks w/another couple! So want house clean for when we arrive, but don't have to pack much--leave clothes here.
Have appetizers ready to prepare easily...
So shower time!! Husband off playing tennis, which is good as then he is out of my way when doing my cleaning frenzy. But I have taught him how to vacuum (mostly due to his buying the cheapest vacuum--he was getting freaked out about buying all new stuff for 2nd home & this vacuum is like trying to wield a lawn mower! It is so heavy & really useless--just points out what it misses & what you have to pick up by hand!! A lint brush would do a better job. Also he tried dusting, but I had to go over spots he missed {like the table legs of coffee table}).
But w/my much-decreased pain, I'm able to do so much more. Though I do need to rest my hands after using them a lot. Planning to get surgery on left hand in about a month.--Suzy

Good Morning!!!! Suzy: Glad you are feeling better! Tina: Hope you start to feel better soon. Everyone else is doing wonderfully as usual!!! I managed to get a lot done yesterday then took the twins to a birthday party. I was a princess party so I had one dressed up like Cinderella and one as Snow white, so fitting for them both. We had fun and I got to see some long lost friends too. Hard to believe that the little girl just turned 4. The mother is a girl I used to baby sit for and used to play with my kids when they were small. Now shes 24 and a mommy of 2, I feel so old So Todays JDIs: *2 loads laundry washed, dried and put away *Empty and reload dishwasher *ETE and PUPA in Kitchen *PUPA in Living room *Town hall to file electrical permits *Fire Dept for filing burner permits *Fax insurance papers to fire dept *Email papers to state *Call customers to set up appts for upcoming installs*Clean coat closet *Work on DR *Put together file cabinet *Clean twins room *Go through stacks of papers *Work on taxes Busy day, bu thats how Mondays are, lots of business paperwork...ick! Have a great day! Kim

Hi Everyone!
Bless, you really cracked me up with your messcavation! Like Chellybelly, it took me a minute and I thought of Lurray Caverns with the stalagmites. I got it now......STALL-ag-mites!!!LLLLOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!
Suzy, I am so glad to hear your cast is off. Now that the cast is off, you can cast on! Pun intended. I still want to see this cast on method. It sounds really interesting.
Kim, I don't know how you do it with all of those folks in your house! Kudos! Can you clone that energy and send it to me in a bottle!
Mary, I actually have some knitting and craft magazines from 2006 that I still need to get to. You're way ahead of me. BTW, what is sensory nanny?
Now, inspired by the distinguished accomplishments and work of the renowned Professor Bless, I have been working in the southern hemisphere of Messopotamia(MESS-o-potamia). This is found in the lower region of the Cocoaknits nation also known as my craft desk. I have uncovered a couple of inches where the earlier inhabitants referred to as the wooden surface of the desktop. There are many levels of dangerous mountains of prehistoric *&^%_)(^%$^%$# that are still acquiring several layers of sediment. I will knit a very long rope affixed to my waist and firmly tied to the extremely heavy water bed. If nobody hears from me in a couple of days, I may have gotten distracted with the archeologically clutter-able finds that need to be shipped immediately to the Messtonian Institute for further study. Ahhhhhh!!!! I think I just discovered the abomitable snowman!!! False alarm.....just some stray polyester fiberfill. Bless, I will confer with you later and we will compare field notes!
Today's JDI's Laundry-of course, ok, I have been putting it off, but I'm almost done. Uncover the southern hemisphere of Messopotamia Focus, focus, focus
