Simplicity: I'm glad to hear that even when you're simplifying your meal plans you're eating healthy. Good for you!
Bless: I'm sorry to hear about your mung bean prices.
Ann: Here's to a clean test and a yummy dinner!
Mary: Good job shopping.
I had a coupon for a free pizza, so we used that on Friday evening.
Saturday I experimented with new recipes. It was very "fresh" tasting and had some unusual, to us, flavor combinations. One dish was way too lemony. If I made it again, I wouldn't use that many lemons. The other two dishes were good.
Sunday I made ham and egg cups with bagels and cream cheese and a fruit platter. We had a lunch later on Sunday. We weren't really hungry, so we had bagel and ham sandwiches with fruit for dinner.
I bought groceries on Friday. I have seven days and 60 more dollars to keep the budget at $300.00. I'm pretty sure that I can do it.
Actions speak louder than words.
