GASP!! Trash a book, never I'm afraid I am like you, books are my vice and I will check with our library to see if they are interested in any of the writing books.

Thanks!

This is a really good idea, I also have many new books I've reviewed and I should cull those out and give them away as prizes on my website or facebook page, hmmm have to think on that one as it is so expensive to ship anything from Canada.

I will be checking with the library tho.

Thanks TT, Craigslist might work as I can advertise to the local areas and they could come and pick them up.

Freecycle doesn't work as well as we are quite a ways from a major centre and I've tried it and never got a nibble on some really good free furniture I had.

Excellent ideas, I am pretty good at not accumulating a lot of 'stuff' it is just the books and maybe my business that I have to do some work on.

Thanks so much for posting Cyd!

More good ideas! Actually there is a place online that buys used text books. I just don't remember what it is called but you could try putting 'buy used text books' into search to see if it comes up.

Let me know if you find it and if I find it I'll send you a private message with a link. smile Thanks for your post!

Thanks Dr. O, You're right on!

I did get rid of all my outdated books quite some time ago, I don't keep fiction books after I read them, I donate them right away or pass them on to friends.
