Good for you for taking charge of your life! Sometimes choices are hard, but in the long run much better for our own well being.
WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO on all you have already accomplished.
The north is fine, we are just like you all with different accents! LOL ((((((HUGS))))))))))

Kristil:
By not taking physical ME time, you did do it by clearing out the mess. You are really becoming a Good GONer! Just think, before long you can take all the ME time you want when the house is back together. I cannot believe they are keeping that manager! Take the time tonight for YOU. (How are you enjoying the book?)

Purdy Bear:
Good for you!

Have already done Desk day (only a few bills) and will finish up the filing later this afternoon, when the energy is lower. Did my ETEing and want to do a babystep in the ROTM.

Have ceramics today and am going to try and do both morning and afternoon classes. I need to get the items finished! As usual I have to do more than one!

I'm not going to try to catch up with everyone, you're too productive!! LOL Bet you never thought you'd hear that! I spent yesterday morning at the courthouse waiting to see if I got picked for jury duty. Thankfully wasn't but have to call in this evening to find out if I need to go back in tomorrow morning. Today I'm trying to get all my cleaning done and get ready in case I do have to go back in. They could have another 2 day trial so might not be off the hook.

Keep up the great work everyone!

Dianaro2: Thanks for the hugs. I am not worried about northern folks (you guys are much cooler than the rednecks I deal with around here). It's driving that far away from home, at night, just me and the kids.

We will be spending a few hours in Pittsburgh - gonna ride the incline, eat a Primanti Brothers sandwich, and visit a couple of museums.

Can't wait!!

You guys have a great couple of weeks!

Kimber

Kimber: Nice to see you on here again! Great going on the changes you've made!

Just a quick update then I'm off to bed. Linda needs prayers. The renters backed out today...when they were supposed to sign the papers and give her a deposit. Plus the job she wanted fell through too. Now she has no job, which means no money to pay for mortgage. Her faith is amazing as she's completely trusting God will show her the next step. Me...that's another story. My faith wavered a bit today, but I'm still trusting Him too. (Just wish some real answers would come NOW!) LOL

Anyway, will catch up with productivity stuff tomorrow. Cya!

Wendy: The one thing that got me through some bad days lately, is the thought, "Everything happens for a reason."

For example, the renters might have backed out because if they hadn't, they would have done major damage. Or the job: A better one is around the corner.

I was really upset when I found out my bf had trashed my van (he drove it everyday so that he could haul wood, etc). But I sold it for $100, my dad got me a newer one that he'll let me pay him back for (he gets them cheap at auctions and fixes them up). I realize now that if the bf had not torn up the van, it could have died when we were halfway to Pennsylvania!

Anyway, my prayers are with you. smile

Wendy- I agree completely! The book I am currently reading is about what you do when God doesn't seem to be showing up in your life the way you expected or wanted. God has a plan and while it may not be what you think it should be, there is always a reason things happen the way they do! Prayers are with Linda that things turn around soon!

Well, my ME time last night turned out to be coming home late from work, falling over into the bed and sleeping 8 straight hours!!! OMG!! crazy

I had packed a lunch to take to work in a bag, then a bag of bottled water (I had left my insulated bag in the truck) and found out at lunch time I had only grabbed the bag with the water!!! Fortunately I had some blueberries, a cup o peaches and some teddy grahams in my emergency, stay in the truck bag!
I was so starving when I left work!

I only work half day today so I will be home early! Gonna try again for the mani/pedi ME time. Read 2 chapters of my book at lunch.

The manager got into it again with the district manager over the phone. She is still on suspension until Sunday. She was supposed to work yesterday, off today and then work the week end. She told him she had previously said she could not work Saturday since it was her daughter's birthday party. He told her since she didn't want to work when needed, just take the rest of the week off to think about it.Said they have had numerous customer complaints on her and store items in the studio not paid for. Wow! Sure looking forward to getting out of the drama!!!

On the other hand they are very pleased with me at the moment. Makes no difference to me as I will be back at the frat house soon!!!!! Yea!!

Have no clue what I need to do when I get home. My brain feels like mush and I am just going through the motions. Will figure it out later!

Wendy:
I agree with Kimber, but I am also like you, not patient! LOL
Definitely will pray that things work out for all of you.

Kristil:
Why are they keeping that psycho? I bet you are anxious to get back to the frat house! Look at how far you have come this past few months in clearing out and cleaning up the house with this time! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO you should be very proud of yourself.

Glad you rested, it catchs up with us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't go to the classes. I went, but no parking so I decided to go do the errands and then the vertigo hit! So I stayed home, took my meds, slept for 3 hours (due to the meds) and felt like the old me again, vertigo gone. TYG! Don't know how or why, but felt better not driving just in case. I generally take half a pill, as you can see the whole pill knocks me out! I also went to bed and slept at night without a problem! Things are fine and I am glad I listened to common sense yesterday.
Today I already wiped the inside of the car, and will be spiffying and ETEing after I finish posting. Have a great day all!
Dianaro: Just had to tell you I enjoy camping more in theory than in practice. It's a lot of work and I don't sleep well (I'm usually cold even though I bought the warmest sleeping bag on the planet). But it's good family time and really good for the kids. I am saving for a motorhome though, LOL!
Early morning, I'm tired, did not sleep well last night. We are off in a bit to the kids second swimming lesson. I opted for private lessons and after just one, DD can swim. It has been a week and a half since that lesson due to vacation and each time she is in the pool she is getting better and better.
After that it will be off to work. DH is taking the kids and friends swimming tonight and then DS is staying at friends for a sleepover. I think tomorrow night we'll camp at the river lot (very easy, trailer already there and ready to go). Talked with my DSM last night and got some plans worked out for next weekends trip.
Just need to survive month end at work and I'll be good to go!
Last night, we switched the bookcases that were in DD's room and the 3rd room. DD needed more shelf space for her growing collection of manga books and anime DVDs. She also set up the 2nd bookcase we had bought from Ikea some time ago, and rearranged her furniture a bit to accommodate the new bookcase.
