Offering organizing classes is a great way to:

1. Help those who want to help themselves.
2. Make some money outside of hands-on organizing
3. Get your name out in the community

It isn't always easy finding a location to hold classes. Sometimes it is difficult to get the word out about classes.

Have you tried classes? Have you had any success? Do you have any words of wisdom to share on planning and holding classes successfully?

I have tried classes, but didn't have many attendees. I believe that I should have advertised more. I was away on vacation before the class and it snuck up on me.

I have since done a survey to find out what the best time and day of the week is to offer classes and I could offer my next one accordingly.

That's a good point Bonnie. I have learned that I MUST be in town during the week or so prior to the class.
