Can of chickpeas (have also used black beans), drained
dash of lemon juice
splash of olive oil
tsp. of minced garlic

Put in blender/food processor and pulse until blended well. Adjust mix-ins to your taste.

Easy and delicious smile

Hummus is one of my favorite dips to make because it is so simple with very few ingredients. I also add alittle bit of salt and either cumin or chili powder to mine for alittle added flavor.

I love to buy the lemon hummas at the grocery. It is really lemony. Does anyone know how to achieve that?

Lea, it probably has very fine lemon zest in addition to the juice. The zest contains oils which are stronger.
