I tossed a few things into the charity bin near the dry cleaners. It used to be Cancer Free America; I think now it's something else. I give them things that are not quite nice enough for the charities that do pickups - clothes with small stains I can't get out, or that have been mended. Nothing awful, but things that might wind up in the Third World.

I've been so distracted this week I can't remember something else I made a mental note to mention on this thread - but believe me, something was tossed!

Lots of tossing! Great job everyone!

Shell, you are getting into the spirit of things quickly! Good job! I'm with you on the Longaberger baskets. I love mine and use them all over the house! I think they'd work fine in a beach decor!

Bless, you and I both on tossing weeds. I tossed a bagful myself the other day!

Maureen, good job on all your tossing! You'll hit 200 before you know it!

Almost forgot my tossing! LOL Tossed an old pair of running shoes today. They were just in awful shape and as much as my legs hurt all night, not doing the job they should! That along with the weeds is my toss for the week so far.

Forgot to add that I was about to toss 14 totes back to their owner. I did that and also have a pair of shoes and a pair of snow pants set aside for donations bringing my total to 87+16+ 103. Also tossing a mountain of paper (realized I was 4months behind on my desk *day*)

We ended up with 5 boxes for the Thrift store pick up. I started walking around in circles trying to find something for the 6th box. DH was hanging on to his chair for fear I would box him up. I am still happy with 5 boxes. I know all tolled there was over 100 items. We had 44 clothing/shoes alone.

One of the boxes had stuff in it in the back of the basement for at least 4 years. I had to dust the stuff off to see what was there. Lots of candles in that box but other misc stuff that I had not missed.

Maureen, congrats on the tote toss! you are getting closer and closer to that 200 goal!

Frugal, way cool on the 5 boxes! That's too funny about dh hanging onto his chair! LOL Love it when they keep a sense of humor!

Tossed lots of waterproofing on the deck latticework today. Other than that just assorted and sundry recycle stuff.

Tossed - guess what? - more weeds! It's mostly runner grass that spread on long underground stems or runners. Wish it would grown on the lawn, where I WANT it to grow, and not in my flower beds where I don't want it to grow!

My tossing has been of a sad nature. My 2 beloved four legged kids were sent off to puppy heaven Tuesday night. They were 14 and 13 and were wonderful. I have spent very little time at the house the past few days as my new man said I needed time away. I have been home this afternoon and have started on the cleanout.

I have sent a 30lb pail of food and some assorted treats to his mom and dad for their dog. I am washing all the floor pillows(6 of them) and will donate them to the local shelter. I found a couple more containers of foods and treats and will also give them to the shelter too. I am vacuuming all the hair off the love seat and will toss the vacuum bag of all the hair and smells of them.

I also cleaned out the fridge, tossing about a dozen items.

The yard sale pile continues to grow. But Wed nite, the eagles, civic organization I am an officer at, decided that we will do a fall indoor yard sale. They will rent tables for $10 and will offer food and beverages and anything left over can be left there as a donation for the spring sale, and they will give me a slip for taxes too.
