Hope the temperature lowers Jazzlady.

Carol, what a great honor for your daughter. Glad she enjoys her new quilt too.

Good luck with Desk Day Maureen, enjoy your massage too.

I am making alittle bit of progress on my list and I will have more to post and edit/update tomorrow! Which is my day off hoping for alot of productivity.

Oh DD LOVES to practice playing her clarinet. She already practices every day without fail. I never have to remind her. Music is her passion. Clarinet is her first instrument, but since October she has taught herself how to play the flute, the guitar and the keyboard. It is just amazing to me how she just picks it up. She is constantly on the lookout for new songs to play and new challenges. She will hear a song, put it on her iPod, sit down with an instrument and figure the whole thing out. She is voluntarily going through a Music Theory course this summer to improve her knowledge and music reading abilities. I'm hoping that we/she can find a career that involves this love of music.

Since my July goals are pretty much complete, this morning I worked on a few projects around the house:

- Made some chocolate chip muffins to take on the road for snacking

- Spray painted a piece of lattice that I am going to use as a wall decoration (This is a trash to treasure - I found it lying next to the dumpster.)

- Hung wall decorations in bedroom (Another trash to treasure - I got 3 wooden embroidery hoops from the thrift store and put fabrics in them that coordinate with the quilt on the bed. That's it. Simple and thrifty. And, it looks great!)

- Now I'm working on turning a man's shirt into a camisole/tank

When will you be moving? You are doing a great job already in the packing and sorting. WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO

I am pretty happy with how things are going on my goal list for this month. Sometimes it takes to the end of the month, but that is fine.

Thats a project for the next week: I need to pick a firm move in date (got to discuss with my parents, and brother-in-law), then I need to book a move-in-date with my storage space.

Thanks, I am really trying but I am still having a hard time. I can't really see the trees because of the forest (so to speak). Instead of focusing or seeing what I have gotten accomplished all I am able to see right now what is left to do.

Dianaro- I don't think I answered about the garlic. We just dry the garlic. I talked to DH about maybe dehydrating it this year. I read you can mince it and freeze it too. We would like to keep it longer this year.

Monday was a busy day of doing things for BB. I left the house at 8 and got home at 4. SS office was not busy so I was in and out in 25 minutes. Cable office said I cannot cancel the cable until I bring in the modem, remote, etc. I send BBs DGS a registered letter advising him I would be canceling it and he needed to have the items on the kitchen table on 7/30. I visited BB and brought some pictures that a fam mbr had painted. I got cornered by the billing person at the nursing home demanding to know when I was going to pay the bill. Thought I was going to be held there for ransom for a few minutes.

Today I got the cks for BBs new checking account and will pay some bills tonight. I have accomplished a lot this month. Met with her atty and DS on Weds and we discussed the probate of BBs DH and what to do next. Her DS was very pleasant to me. I think he was relieved someone was taking it on.

I have several goals next week

Sun- finish mowing lawn
-laundry and cleaning
-buy new locks for BBs house
Mon- meet with realtor to get market analysis report
Tue- meet with 2nd realtor for market analysis report
-take client JB to her DBs funeral
Wed- mow lawn
Thu- go to open house with DH for a new rehab facility
Fri- vacation day
-carpets cleaned at home
-sign for ins on BBs home
-set up funeral plan for BB at funeral home
-see if BBs DGS moved out of the house, change locks if
he did. If not, prepare eviction papers for
court.
-dinner out with DH

Ok, now we have to change how you look at things.....we need to reverse that thinking you have! Give yourself credit for what all is done already.
