I posted yesterday but it's not here. Must have lost my connection.
Anyway, I was excited that I finally got my office work caught up, which hasn't happened since June 2008, and was planning on working in my spare bedroom. I had company yesterday afternoon so I didn't get much done until today.
It was filled up with boxes to put away, stuff to go in boxes, boxes and bags to donate. Just way too much stuff!
I've put all the Christmas boxes away. It was hot in the eave storage but I got it done. I did take a break and went through some papers until I cooled off. Then back to work in there. Was able to clear some floor space and vacuum all the ladybugs up.
I'm going to get the donations loaded up and probably won't get back in there until this evening. DH is on third shift so while he's sleeping tonight before work I may go through some of the boxes of papers.

I had a board meeting this morning and went to Wal Mart to look at tv's. I found one I really like. When I can out we were getting ready for for some major thunderstorms. Luckly they turned out to be just really good rain.
Anyway it made things kind of cold. I was going out to school and thought why? I should go to the attic. It was perfet up there.
I was able to get to the attic boxes and look through them. Then I was able to move them to another area. I have five boes to trash. I did some rearrangments and now things look a lot better.
I won't say it's really finished but it's so much better. A lot I can't get rid of yet because of a few reasons. They are: 1. DM is still alive and sh'd be heart hearten 2. DGK's are the age for the toys 3. Cabin isn't built
If/wehen DD has another child and it's a boy I'll have tons to donate but right now I'm not getting rid of the barbie stuff or cabbage patch stuff. Those are things we might use and enjoy with a girl.
Oh my neighbor came up to look at my old tv and he wants both the tv and entertainment center. So the problem of getting rid of the old stuff when I get new is taken care of. That's sure a relief. Solve a huge problem for me.
Well since it's nice temperture wise I think I'll go sweep the garage and arrange it a little more. Ya I think in exchange for the tv and cabinet I'll have my neighbor do the peg board in the garage. He'll do it. That would mean I could finish it.

Oh the garage loks so nice now!!!! I sweep it from one end to another. I also got some more jars for nails and did them. I've decided to try huge nails to hang stuff instead of peg board since I have so many. I'll do that tomorrow. I think it will work and it'll give me something to do with the nails I brought.
I will say I am going to feel sorry for my garage men. I have so much trash for them to pick up. I should leave them cookies but that would mean I'd need to bake and it's to hot for that.

Maureen: WHOOOO HOOOOOOOO aren't you excited about having a place to work? Please do a little something each day for playing, it helps the day, and you feel good.
~~~~~~~~~~~ Working with neighbor to price and set up tables for Friday today. Can keep the car out side. The rain will wash the dust off.
Hi all,
Just a quick note here. Regarding the pregant Dog she has had a litter of 13 pups. 1 died and 1 of them was just found under the porch. The one under the porch was found on June 7th (late afternoon) when the litter was born on June 5th. How the Miracle pup was still alive is beyond us.
Anyway as for other news I will be getting back online more next week but to work since I am needing work so I can make money here badly. My Husband and our landlord is working on some things regarding the property and such. I will explain in detail once these meetings get though and I know what is fully going on. It is Good news though so far!
I had planned on going to the garage and seeing if the nails would work but I got a load of bricks I had to take care if. The bicks ended up being four wagons full but I was able to finish the area in front of the cabinet holding tools.
Then I made a walkway to the bench. I could use a few more but I'll get them another time. But doing this meant I had to move some plants. I may not be able to move tomorrow from this.
Then I decided to mow since they were doing the front of the house. I also weed eated where I needed to. Right now my yard looks really good.
Of course I'm hot and stinky so I came in and read some of my book. I may try and go out latter this evening. I'd like to know if the nails will work.
Pam, woo hoo on getting the office done, wish I could say the same on mine!
Frugal, keep up the good work.
cindy, your progress is fantastic, just don't kill yourself on doing too much at one time.
Sarena, congrats on all the new babies, esp the miracle pup!
Bless, continue to take care of you or else you won't be able to get anything done. those summer colds suck.
Diana, good going on the yard sale progress. That is one of my goals as well.
As far as the new job goes, I like it, I like the company philosophy, the training is great, it's the money that I see being a problem. I am on a draw, not much, barely enough to pay the bills after spending a quarter of it a week on gas (it is a road warrior job). The problem is that it takes a minimum of 3 to 6 months to start making any money at all, and the way the draw is set up, you max out on it at about 9.5 weeks on the road, which is where I will be next week. Then you have to justify why they should keep "giving" you a paycheck. I have one or two things in my pipeline, but they will not pan out for about another month to five weeks and then will only be enough to pay back about half of my draw. Sort of damned if you do, damned if you don't. If I had a second income in my house, I would be able to stick it out til the money is coming in. I know that in the long run, if I can make it past a year, then it should be okay. I just really don't know if I can hold out that long. So in the meantime, it is back to applying online for anything I can find, and suffice it to say, Michigan is not the place to be looking for any kind of work.
As far as ROTM progress, it has been slow. Thr new ground cover out front has been planted, I cleaned up the side that has hostas and day lillies and cleaned out the weeds, and put in cypress mulch and solar lights. On the inside, minimal work as I have been sick for the past week and getting past a death in the family that required time to get through.
