Good morning, all. Some days I feel I didn't get much done, but then, when I list what I did do, all the little things add up to quite a bit! And then I say, "No wonder I felt tired!" Yesterday's productivity: - morning routine - work (7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) - home/check on the new plants/bring in trash cans/bring in mail - pick up DD from play rehearsals (6:30 p.m) - put gas to car - have tea - prepare dinner (rice, leftover chicken curry, green beans, zucchini, cucumber salad; fruit salad for dessert) - dishes/kitchen clean up - watch Dancing with Stars - Scrapbook - Help DD study for test (quizzed her) Plans for today include a trip to the bank and the post office and cleaning the bathrooms.

Wendy: Good to see you. Busy time for you. Glad to hear Linda is coming back!
Hello to everyone!
Well, our first official baseball game was last night. DS warmed the bench (boring!) and I watched. Have more Moms helping to keep score this year....Yahoo! They won the game and were so excited. It is kid pitch this year so it's all new!
Things have been crazy with returning to the regular routine this week. Work especially as there has been an issue going on there which has finally reached resolution. Plus I believe I am having some productivity issues in my department in the mornings when I am not there so having a meeting this afternoon to address that.
On the home front I really need to spend some time on some hot spots and ETE as things are getting a bit too cluttered for my taste. Need to get another donation box started. Discovered that DS grew two sizes in pants (he normally only wears shorts) so I have some of his clothes to give away and others I'm taking to exchange as he never wore them!
Well, I'm going to run get my work stuff together. DD should be home in about 15 minutes. Need to bring warm clothes for BB practice tonight, very windy out!

This is sort of a JDI. Decided to sit down tonight and get my taxes done. Took me about an hour and a half to do it online and e-file it. What a relief to have that done!

I came home yesterday from WW and didn't feel like doing anything!! It was quite warm out (low 90's) and a beautiful breeze coming off the lake.
I did a little paperwork clearing on the kitchen counter (piling up again). Laura came over with dinner and we sat a while outside. The porch is done! Looks great! Would like to sew a cover for one of the cushions (Diana's trick, put elastic around the cover for easy removing and washing)
I feel like I accomplished a lot the last few weeks. I still have the garage to paint and the deck to stain. The deck can wait, as it is still early here, the trees haven't dropped all the green stuff that stains the deck each spring.
Maybe the garage can be done this weekend, weather permitting. I don't expect it to take very long, as I scraped it last year, just have to lightly scrape it again, then at least prime it. (Have the primer and the paint) If I can get that much done, I will be very happy.

Thanks everyone for welcoming me back! I sure missed you all!
Bonnie/Diana: I'll have to go back and read what you said about using boiling water to clean carpets. That's something I'd like to tackle while DH is gone. (Looks like I'll be starting a "while DH is gone list!"
Trying to get back into shape too. I had the girls bike while I ran. Want to increase distance and throw in some other exercises. I want a strong healthy body and talking just isn't going to get it done!
Already taking care of things this morning: -boiled eggs -am currently cooking some beans for dinner -already called the Dr for updates about DH's appt. (Finally got him to go to the Naturopathic Dr!!) -am working on grading papers
Need to do yet: -oversee laundry getting caught up. Shouldn't take much. -Study music for musical -go over notes for musical -do anything else for the MUSICAL!!
Well I'd better get going! Nice to see you all again! CYA!

Good morning all. Lots of things getting done!
Bless, lots done! Good job!
Jodi, good job on getting the taxes done! Glad to see that issues are getting resolved. Sometimes it's harder than it should be. Know you'll do well on resolving the productivity issues too! Baseball season! How fun, especially when the kids are doing it all!
Helen, glad to see you are resting.
Kristil, you sure are getting lots done for as tired as you are. Good job on stabilizing the kitty tree. They probably feel safer with it more stable. That's funny about nanny kitty wanting in on the fun! They are such funny creatures.
Waterlady, you have accomplished a lot the last few weeks! Enjoy that nice weather!
Wendy, the hardest part is boiling enough water at one time to fill my machine's water tank. It's amazing how much better the carpet looks and how fast it dried. The spot shot works really well to take the stains out too. Make sure you put fun stuff on the "while dh is gone" list! You've been busy already this morning! Good job.
I did most of my list (I think) yesterday:
Clean out fridge - Done sweep and steam mop kitchen floor - Done finish laundry - oops! Still need to fold sheets and towels Submit my Avon order - Done reconcile checkbook - Done pay bills - Done filing clean off my desk
So...a few things yet to do. Will try to tackle them this morning.
Today's plan is for the following:
Clean basement bathroom Dust and vacuum family room Dust and vacuum office Strip guest bed, dust and vacuum guest room
Make purses to sell. Have a couple of people who want purses so I need to get busy and get them made!
Have a great day all!
Figured I'd just go ahead and update this one since no one else has posted yet! Feels good to have the chores done! I do have the sheets from the guest bed and the towels from the bathroom down here in the washer and will toss them into the dryer in just a few when I go upstairs to fix myself some lunch. Just wanted to update with what I've finished! I'm happy!

Worked VERY hard today. Had a bunch of big heavy jobs, and no help. Took my time, got it done. I delivered over 600 lbs of salt by myself, and other heavy, heavy jobs.
I am pooped. It wasn't supposed to be this hot today, that's why I offered to do the deliveries. Some times I hate the weatherman! Been waiting for TStorms for 3 days already. Now they say tonight. Uggh.
Start my training tomorrow for the Census. I think that is why I am so apprehensible about the weather. I have to travel a good distance tomorrow very early am. Hate to travel with the "commuters". They are a reckless bunch on the highway here.
They finally picked up all my bags of leaves. Came home and bagged two more bags. Still have in front of the garage to do, it's raked up, just not bagged. I have never been so far ahead of myself as this year, the weather has been stupendous.
Have a long day tomorrow, so better sign off and get ready!!

Got a job done off my 'it's bugging me' list. I reorganized the cabinet under my master bath sink! I pulled everything out, wiped down the floor of the cabinet, organized the items into containers, and then put them back in a more orderly fashion. Then I took everything off the counter, wiped it and the sink down, and put everything back. It's been messy and disorganized for quite some time, and today I just reached the point where it had to be done! LOL
I also cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, actually cooked dinner, cleaned up afterwards, and dealt with the mail in a timely manner. I have started some new behaviors to develop into habits, and today was a good day.
I also worked my online job today, and I found out I had won one of the bonus 'prizes' (aka money) that they awarded from this past weekend. Every little bit helps!
Now I'm off to watch CSI, run the dishwasher, and hopefully get to bed early. I have a busy day tomorrow.
