I feel so bad that I can't join you consistently. But I'm still being productive. Today was babysitting day and lots of fun. DGD will be 2 this week - she's fun to be around.

I read a chapter in a book that I'm almost done with. I cleaned out a bunch of e-mail and picked up some ribbon to finish a scrapbook page that just needs a few finishing touches.

Waterlady, you did work hard. That's a lot of salt to deliver by yourself! Hoping you don't have to contend with weather on top of commuters tomorrow.

Cari, good job on all you got done! It is a great idea to make behaviors into habits....sounds like you are well on your way to making the habits a reality!

Heide, don't feel bad...we enjoy "visiting" with you when you are able to be here. 2 year olds are such fun! They are so excited with everything they discover and it makes it new for us too!

Fixed dinner and then off to choir practice. I had dgd vacuum the stairs when she got home from school. The rest of the afternoon I relaxed. Didn't get to the sewing machine but plan on doing mostly sewing this weekend. Will be getting purses made! I have a couple of orders for them so I need to get on the stick and get them done!

Have a wonderful night all!

Feel like I managed to get a few things done today. Firstly, I was at work and actually had a fairly productive day, which was nice. Came home and got some of the dining room table cleared off (it has become a major hot spot as our desktop computer is not working and the laptop is on the dining table). Swept the dining room floor. Glued on three pages work of box tops to send to school with DD tomorrow. Typed up the minutes from the last Scout meeting and e-mailed those out. Need to start the load of laundry waiting in the machine, then can relax and read my book.

We had some good news, DH is going back to work full time. He has actually been working towards that for the past month or two. He starts back on Friday mornings starting tomorrow. It has been over 2 years since he worked a 40 hour week. That means I don't go in early on that day now, but that is fine. DS has an appointment with the ortho for an x-ray tomorrow so that is how we will start our day.

I got the bathrooms cleaned and both ovens cleaned out. I need to clean the fridges tomorrow. Hopefully I can get outside tomorrow and wash windows, they need it badly.

Yesterday was one of those days at work!! Everything that could go wrong went wrong. But it ended up ok. Found out I only have two weeks left until they close up for the summer. I have a bit of money set aside, but it will be gone quickly, so I need to get with the portrait studio and work out some kind of schedule which will support me over the summer. I am also asking for a raise as I haven't had one in a while and can't hurt to ask. And I am keeping my eyes open for any other part time work I can slid in for the summer.

I need to sit down and figure out what I want and expect from the frat job next year as the house manager wants to talk sometime next week about our future together!

I am thinking of selling my 2nd car as I haven't used it all year and tags are due for renewal in June. That will give me some money and then I won't have upkeep, tags and insurance to spend on it. I was keeping it in case the truck broke down so I would have something to drive. I am going to investigate getting AAA so I can easily get on the road help and one less worry about flat tires, etc.

I now have a full sized refrigerator!!!!!!!! We had to lay it down during transport so I have not plugged it in yet, but it was plugged in and running when we picked it up and works very well. I am greatly indebted to my friend and her father for helping with the move!!! It turned out to be a real bear getting in the house. My house was built in 48 and the doorways are narrow and the Dad had to saw off a piece of baseboard to get it in the kitchen.

They tried putting it where I suggested, but the door would not open all the way. He had to disconnect the gas stove to do it and then found out it wouldn't fit and had to move it where the old fridge was anyway. During the moving I grabbed the dolly to move it out oh his way and dug a huge gash in the linoleum!! eek

Sigh!!! What a crazy day!! I am off work today with so many things needing to be done and up way too early but I am going to try to pace myself and get some rest too. I have to go pick up prescriptions, stop by portrait studio and print my pay stub and pay my insurance. Later on I get to go grocery shopping for food for my new fridge!! Going to round up some ice trays and make ice!! Yea!! It will be nice to be a normal person again!! Well, as normal as I can be...LOL!!

Guess I should get off here and figure out a plan for the day.

So glad I did my errands yesterday. Today I am ETEing and spiffying up for the weekend, and then out to lunch. Hoping to finish up the cards I started last week, and finish them up, so I can start the new cards I learned Tuesday!

Things outside have to wait, it was winter coats and gloves weather again! At least the sun is out today. Hopefully things will warm up soon.

Good morning all! Everyone is doing great as always!

Jodi, good job on all you got done! Hope you were able to sit and read some of your book. Sounds like a bit of adjustment coming for you when dh starts back full time. Sounds like an exciting time tho!

busy, great job on your productivity! Did you make it outside to do windows?

Kristil, you sure know how to have exciting days! LOL Lots going on for you! Sounds like you have a good idea how to prep for the summer. As much as you've been working with the studio I would hope they would work out a good schedule for you over the summer. Hard to believe the frat house is that close to being done for the summer! That's too bad that the linoleum has a gash in it! Know you're going to enjoy that fridge tho! Had to laugh about your comment about "normal". My favorite wall hanging says "Masquerading as a normal person every day is exhausting!" I had that hanging in my cubicle when I worked outside the home. Now it hangs in my office/sewing room!

Diana, sounds like you have a busy weekend coming up! I hear you about coat and hat weather! Yesterday we had snow, rain, big wind, and cold, although we started the day at around 50! It was crazy weather for sure!

Today I've done my dailies and we have Bible study coming up at 10. After that I need to make a grocery store run and then the plan is to spend the afternoon sewing. Never did get to it yesterday so that will fill my weekend up.

Have a great day all!

Yesterday, went to work, picked up a medication refill, picked up DD after her play rehearsals, had tea, prepared dinner, went through the mail, reworked the budget, did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen.

It wasn't all what I had wanted to do, but, I've been feeling a bit run down this week and inclined to just sit in one place and not move!

Looks to me like a goodly amount accomplished even with the sit inclination (I share that same inclination some days!).

I have that sit inclination most days. LOL

Kristil, Yay on the 'real' fridge! smile

Today I worked out in the back yard, raking some of last fall's leaves, as well as dog doody duty. Cooked, did dishes, got kids to and from school, bathed and put to bed, etc.
