Spent about an hour this morning doing final adjustments to my monthly budget and changing over to April.
Also answered a handful of work emails and billed my client for the second half of March.

My appt. cancelled til tomorrow morning. So I got busy here. Painted the outside back door, then the moulding. It looks great!!. Fixed the screen door, braced the corners, will have to work till I get a new one. Then, bagged 7 bags of leaves in the back yard. Rear yard is done and the side yard too. Saw some guys with a chipper and truck picking up limbs from the main road and asked if they worked for the town, they said yes, and I asked if they would "please" take the huge limb that was in my yard and get rid of it, and they did!!!!!!!! YAY They were so nice about it too!! Had no idea how I was going to get rid of it. Raked out the kennel and put Finn in for an hour, he hated it, but he has to get used to it again. Cloroxed the mildew on the deck and the garage so I can prep for the stain. Cleaned half of the gutters in the rear of the house. (need a big ladder for the other half, need someone to watch so I don't fall!!) DGF stopped by and Laura too. Had a glass of wine on the deck. It was over 70 today!!!!! Then me and Laura took Finn for a real long walk. I must say I am really pooped out!!!! but, got a ton of stuff done today!!!!!

worked a bit in the yard....was going to bag all the leaves but got sidetracked. The kids next door were going to do the poop for me but got sidetracked playing in the leaves and now they are gone on spring break. So...I scooped the entire yard, also found a few pricker weeds that I dug up since I had the shovel with me. There was also an area in the center of the yard that prior owners had pea gravel and big patio stones on it with a glider. I leveled off an area just outside the screened porch and next to the sidewalk and moved the patio stones(18 x18) there so I will now have a place for the grill, which needs to come out of the shed to enjoy.
Pea gravel will be scooped today and will work on bagging leaves too. It's going to be 80 today, unusual for this early in MI, so I want to be outside to enjoy it. We even hit a record high yesterday.

Got a ride in, took a shower and made lunch. Boss wants to work at 12:30 so the clock is ticking.
Took pix of a garden I will be cleaning and something I want to sell.
Sent pic of item to a friend who may be able to put a value on it.
Have a load of clothes in the wash.

Good morning all. Everyone is starting the month off with a bang I see.
Chef, I did the same thing with budget on Wednesday. Love keeping on top of where we're at every month. Working on more frugality too.
Waterlady how nice that they took care of that limb for you. You got a lot accomplished with your unexpected free time! Great job!
Kristil, amazing how motivating cookies are! LOL Good job on all you accomplished. Can sure understand enjoying the free space too. Nice that it's not a big inconvenience to wait another week.
BL, you did get quite a bit done in the yard. Enjoy that 80 degrees!
Diane, lots done for you too!
I've had a relaxing week for the most part. Have taken it easy around the house this week. It's just me and dh so things are staying pretty well picked up. I did manage to work on sewing my Easter dress yesterday. I've still got a bit to do but it's close to done. I like that! They changed my PT appt to Monday so that frees up my day today! LOVE IT!!
Have a great day all.

Spent a quiet, rather non-productive day, yesterday.
Went to the office and spent time in meetings.
Came home and took DD to her gymnastics class.
Looked around the garden to see what the gardener had done (planted my hibiscus and tomato seedlings)
Cooked rice and green beans for dinner (along with leftover beef curry, leftover cashew curry, leftover eggplant, leftover garbanzos, etc.)
Washed the dishes.
Then, instead of doing any housework or paperwork, I spent 2 hours watching TV! "Eyes on the Prize" - a documentary about the civil rights movement - on the public TV channel. It was very enlightening, though.
Today is my furlough day, so, don't have to go to the office. I am planning to go to Costco for my quarterly stock up, do a bit of shopping with DD for computer software, and catch up on things around the house that I didn't do yesterday.

Wednesday: - Wrote 2 postcards to my adopted soldiers - Worked with dog on training commands - Did 2 of my JDI items
Thursday: Not much
Today: - wrote 3 letters to soldiers overseas - did one telephone mystery shop - paid bills - worked at my online job
Our church is having a walk-through 'Eyes of the Cross' presentation tonight, so I plan on attending that. Other than that, a quiet day. They are predicting storms later on but I'll believe it when I see them. Texas weather is SO unpredictable this time of year!

Worked in and outside most of the day. I think all the fresh air is getting to me! Took a little nap.
Got all the limbs picked up, and DS2 stopped by and brought the biggie one to the garage for me. Need to transfer all the other ones to the cart.
Cut more of the bushes, taking a long time but want them done right for a change.
Worked on some card making also.
