I have been fairly busy lately. This morning we hung out and my oldest has a friend over to play. This afternoon, I made some needed phone calls, washed walls in the kitchen, dining room, living room, entry and hallway. I mopped all floors upstairs and vaccumed the living room.

After supper, got the kids bathed and to bed, helped my oldest with her homework, got her to bed, then made a couple more phone calls to set up meeting dates this week and now am on the laptop and watching Hoarders!!

DS went back to school.

Made it through the weekend...three whole days off!! I got a lot of rest and a lot done as well. I don't know how to act having had so much "free" time!

I have 3 tiles left to do in the bath room. I put down six and the ones around the toilet were hard . A pro would go WHAT but being it is my first attempt I am pleased with the results. The last 3 are between the tub and behind the toilet. It is a tight spot to work in and I stopped to finish another day. Then I need to caulk.

In cleaning found a small can of eggshell paint and I have the free one I got of dusty rose. Not sure what I am going to do with them.

Cleaned the front windows, swept off the front porch and walk. Trimmed a few bushes. The one I really wanted to trim had a bird nest with Mama sitting on it so I skipped doing it as I didn't want to spook Mama.

Sorted through the stuff I took out of my truck. Found 2 brand new pairs of sandals my DM had given me for Christmas I had forgotten about.

Strange things are afoot at the portrait studio (aren't there always?!?!). My best friend there and manager of one location is going back to California in mid June to help with her ailing father. Her assistant is secretly quitting before June to take another job. Only 2 people know this so far. The 3rd person there is, well there is no nice way to say it, but she is a goof ball!! She is not allowed to work alone as she is always screwing things up. A girl at another studio is going on maternity leave for 6 weeks. And a couple of people are treading thin ice and on the verge of getting fired.

My friend called and told me I had better call the boss and tell him when I was available to work for the summer. He couldn't get back to me but told her to tell me I will have plenty of hours available and NOT to get a second job.

So hopefully I am financially set for the summer!

Got to get ready for work. Philly Cheese Steak day!!

Busymomma! Goodness woman, you must have fallen into bed quite easily yesterday with all that you did!

TYG! That is great that there will be hours for you at the portrait studio. Things are falling into place for you for the summer!

You did alot of work! Call the people who helped you in the bathroom, to "ask advice" and they may come and finish those parts for you. Tee hee.

DS2 over to bring down the clippings yesterday. I was so relieved. While he did that I swept the garage, and was able to put the Easter bins away, along with a couple of other loose things from Christmas that weren't where they belonged. A little more tweaking on the shelves, and then I can continue in sorting and tossing one area at a time. Looking good already though just with the floor swept!

Saturday, I paid for DD's gymnastics classes, went to the library, did the grocery shopping, did some scrapbooking and attended the prayer meeting in the evening.

Sunday, I woke up feeling dizzy. Not sure why - I think my sinuses were blocked which created a pressure and made me feel lightheaded? Anyway, slept in a bit, ran the dish washer, did 4 loads of laundry, washed the stove top, and tried to scrapbook, but only did a couple of pages. One of my neighbors came by while I was cooking dinner - apparently she had locked herself out of her home and needed to use the phone to call her nephew.

It poured with rain last night and this morning I discovered that the kitchen ceiling was still leaking, even though we tried to patch the roof, earlier. So, I still need to see to that.

Still feeling a little lightheaded today, but came to work, anyway. Hopefully, it'll wear off, later.
