I'm going to try and do a quick vacuum before the little guy comes and maybe mix together some muffins.

Diana: I think I was a lurker back when it first started out as 5 items. The thread seems to have evolved into more of a "to do" list now, and I am guilty of overloading my list. But it is a good reminder, what the original intent was!

So here's my JDI list for today:

1. See pharmacist to ask if I might get copies of her faxes to the clinic
2. Dr's appt - They cancelled it! Had to reschedule.
3. Bank
4. Work on Office/Crafts room clean up
5. Paperwork - DID SOME
6. Replace the burnt out bulb in the family room ceiling light fixture/take off glass globe & wash it before putting back on.

Plus the usual daily stuff: pick up DD from play rehearsals, make dinner, do dishes, may be a load of laundry, etc.

Checking in and updating from this morning.

I did a few things, and went out to lunch but there were reasons no one came back to the house, other committments. Worked out well, the house is nice and clean and I can do other things now! LOL

Made an appointment for an eye checkup for Friday. That way I can replace the glasses I lost too. BBL

JDI for Tuesday

Lunch with son - DONE, had a great time
Eye doctor appt - DONE, all is well, but he dilated my pupils so I was forced, FORCED I tell you, to spend my afternoon taking a nap.
Dinner meeting as guest of DH - he is on the local Chamber of commerce board- DONE, and so is he, this was his last meeting as chairman!!

Dance Class - DONE - final class of the Beginner II series, perfected my "boogie legs" and learned the stutter step. Next month - line dancing!!

Wednesday's JDI's
Annual pap smear - DONE, no probs

Meeting with financial advisor for my sister's trust - I am the trustee (sis is mentally & physically handicapped) - DONE, but I sure wish I knew more about finances. We have set up an annuity but I hope it's enough. Not that we had any more $$ to put into it... My parents set it up originally, but like everything else, it has been badly impacted by the past two years' economy.

Work at office - DONE

Grocery shopping - DONE

Dust & vacuum living room, dining room, polish the furniture, sweep off the back deck and wipe off the outdoor furniture - DONE

Now I have a whole 45 minutes to work on my revisions before starting supper.

After supper dishes are done, my final JDI for today is sorting the ()^&#^&#)%$@ mail. It has piled up UP UPPPP.

Wooooooooo Hoooooooooo, Carolyn! Look at all those DONES on your list! Take a bow! No, better still, do the Happy Dance!

I agree a happy dance is in order Carolyn! you should be very proud of yourself....so on Friday when I go to the eye doctor, I HAVE to take a nap too! Hopefully it won't last all day long!

Seriously, after being back here such a short time, I feel so much more motivated!!!

i made it to my appt, but didn't get a chance to watch dool. i did the dailies after i got home, inc cleaning my earrings and then unloaded the dw and did a load of clothes. i didn't get done 'til 830. i've been on here since about 9 but took a break for dinner.

Did most of the items on my list, but 2 items will be carried over to tomorrow - the trip to the bank and replacing the bulb.
