Got all my list done except the muffins. It's been a long afternoon. My heart just grieves for the young widow, the 3 little children who have lost their Daddy, and the young man who has lost his Dad and possibly best friend. I have a monster headache and am off to bed...

Yesterday the adult education office wrote me they would let me drop the class I was not enjoying and they say they will reimburse me in full! Yeah! Miracle of miracles!
Called a young lady who sounds very nice and who helps people organize their wardrobe.She said she might be able to help me declutter, we will meet in November.Sounds good to me!
Biggest worry; finding an apt near the city is proving hard, every apt that met my budget was alredy gone by the time I called.Thought this time of the year would be less busy. So I have to find a place in a hurry and might have to live out in the boondocks. Worry,worry, Have printed ads to put on bulletin boards.Thanks Helena

My day has taken a swift turn! Cousin wrote and wants to visit, which is fine, just falling into place. Other than fresh veggies for salad, I have all I need in the house to make a lovely dinner. Have to decide what to make first.

Will finish up the cards as planned and get the spiffying done!
See why I do that? It is so nice to know I can be ready for a lovely dinner party and visit with family and not worry about the house or food! WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOoo

Thanks Diana: He was a teen buddy of dh's and the Daddy of one of DDs new school friend's. I have thought about getting a dust buster. Dh is on his way to the city today maybe he can pick one up if he has time.

Made a couple of calls,and now I know what it will cost to send out gifts to DAs and DUs for christmas. Not bad at all, might come out cheaper and they get things to eat too!

I finished putting all the stuff away, had to take over two hours! Lots out. Now it is all packed where it belongs,and
I can do the other cards tomorrow.

Just finished half the house, and baths and will continue in the rest of the house. Taking Sylvester into the vet in the afternoon, so will have time in the morning to work out a sample to see if I like it or not.

The landscaper has been cleaning up the yard the past 3 hours!
TYG most of the leaves fell.

Also want to plan dinner for Sunday and see what I need from the store. DSIL will bring a cheesecake for dessert. I already have appetizers, meat, rolls, veggies and drinks. Need to pick up some salad fixings.

Its just about suppertime here and even though eating alone I made myself a meatloaf. One would think when off kitchen duty I would make do but I had to use the meat. I am going to see how the instant mashed potatoes work .A can of peas and there you go.
I have done some laundry and tonight I must work on my budget.
I think if I watch some TV tonight I will do some sock knitting. Ann 39

i only got 25 email read yesterday, but i made up for it today as i read 41 so far. i got a second wind yesterday around 7pm and refolded my towels and hung them and also emptied the dw and ate dinner.

today, i did the dailies during dool and paid the cc co. i washed the sheets and remade the bed, then scrubbed the kitchen floor and 7 cabinets. i still have 2 more to do on that side, but it will wait for another day.
