I got all my pictures uploaded to the website, just need to go through them and crop a few before I send them off.

ChefSam...thanks..I already feel welcome here \:\)

My first organizing goal is getting all my photos that are spread
everywhere into acid free containers and then the VERY
favorites into an album. It really bothers me to think of some cherished photo and not know where it is. Recently I found some special old photos crammed into a box that has been in the attic.
Yikes...
I want to know all photos are in one place.

I thought I had read that some plastics are safe ...
Anyone know what plastic storage containers I could use???

Welcome Kelly!! Anything that says it's lignin and acid free should be fine.

Maybe you could sort them in cardboard photo boxes and then put them in a large bin to contain them in one spot? If you labeled each photo box with the year or whatever, so you knew what box was what, then you could probably just put the boxes into a large rubbermaid type of container.
