I need to buckle down today and actually get some stuff done. I only have three things out of the house to do and that's the gym, stop at my mom's and get the dry cleaning. Then I'm going to go room to room and do what I can and make a list of what I need to get to. Must say I never did that master list part but I can see how I may need that this year.

Hi ladies:
Doodle:
That is a great plan, it is amazing all those "little things" we see and say to ourselves we need to do. When it is down on paper you don't have to do that! Good luck, and don't let it overwhelm you, it doesn't have to be done in a day.

Darlene:
WHOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO DH is really doing alot as are you.
You two busy bees up there in the cold tundra!

It is freezing here again but.......TaDAH, the weather men are saying 50 for Saturday! TYG! I am so ready. May have rain, don't care. The lord has been so good to me this winter, with so many sun days. What a difference in my life! I don't feel so "down".

My JDIs for today:
Post office
Copy place (never went out yesterday toooooooo cold)
Vet
Take out something for dinner
Bring trash cans in

Hi All:

Hope you all are well.

Well I am happy to report that I finished all my reading last night that is due for today. I read Act 2 3 times and still am confused...LOL. But I guess thats what the class discussion is for.

Well the day is half over and I have done nothing...housework wise. Last night I sat and made a very specific chore chart for the kids with stipulations that if they dont get done they lose a privilage. I have had it them "forgetting" to do stuff that they have been responsible for years. How would they like it if I "forgot" to take them to practice or to the mall or wherever...LOL. Needless to say they werent happy about it but too bad. I do everything in this house it wouldnt kill them to help out a little more. Though my oldest step son was none too happy that he had to clean the downstairs BR once a week. I told him that I will be none to happy to pay for his college in the fall either..I think he got the point.

Of course the "Queen" DD was like I dont do chores and I said I know but your going to start, she told me that she was either marrying rich or going to be rich and would hire a maid...I just laughed and said yeah me to and instead I am the maid and I am sick of it. She fought me tooth and nail until I reminded her that I bring her and her friends to the Mall every Friday night and I would be happy to spend my time cleaning instead...she got the picture. We will see how it works out. They have basic responsibilities and 1 "major" Chore a week. Also they are completely responsible for their bedrooms once a week no exceptions and that means dustng and vacuuming too. Not done, no TV, computer, video games for the entire next week. I have to finally put my foot down, I realized that, I dont mind doing it, like to but there are a few things they can do to help so I can spend more time with the twins and them its going by so fast. I have 1 graduating this year and one next, these times are fading fast. Okay Im off my soap box now.

Todays JDIs:

[*]Laundry
[*]Download some pics to email to my mom
[*]Write 2 quotes from poem and what they mean to me for class tonight
[*]ROTM:
***Go throgh DHs drawers, neaten and get rid of things he doesn wear
***Finish closet
[*]Order gates...Havent had time to get to BabiesRus to get them so this is easier, I am particuar about the ones I want
[*]Class at 6pm

Kim

Good going Kim! You HAVE to have the kids help, just to teach them responsibility. Love DD's attitude. Good threats too from you!

Good luck at your class and a big WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOO for reading the book on time. Am proud of you.

Everyone is doing very well with their lists WOOOOO HOOOOOOO!

JDI update (late evening)

- online meeting at 10:30 am DONE
- lead online chat at 8:30 pm; send in report DONE
- clothes in dryer - fold and put away DONE
- sewing - find fabric for making fitting bodice for M's gown and cut out pieces DONE; start my skirt (choose and prep pattern is the first step) DONE
- boxes - baby step(s) NOT DONE (yes, I am ignoring this one)
- MRRP proposal - baby step(s) DONE
- fix lunch and supper; ETE both times DONE
- stay out of DH's way as he continues to build and install closet drawers, etc DONE

DH is struggling to get the drawers to glide in and out like they should. I hope he can get them working properly tomorrow.

I'm satisfied with my progress today even if I didn't touch those silly boxes.

For tomorrow I know have an appointment at 11 am (downtown) and an online meeting at 12 noon (I might be late for the meeting). I'll add other tasks to my list in the morning. I'm going to bed now!
