Good evening. I'm typing this at work. It's Wednesday 6pm and I'm sticking it out for another hour before I go home. Sigh!

Today, because I was at work for so long I didn't do much (apart from work. LOL.)

But I did have a very nice lunch with my sister who is in town today and tomorrow.
And, also a very nice afternoon tea with some friends, which made the day much better.

Also washed my hair this morning which made me feel a lot brighter as well.

Since I won't be getting home till after 8pm, I'll only cook a small meal for us tonight, baked beans on toast and a yummy salad with some tuna, which should be nice.

If my husband hasn't done it already, bring inwashing from outside. Maybe I'll even iron it. LOL! I have this strange feeling I won't be doing that. I'm usually pooped at the end of a day at work during the week.

Also, put away some blankets that are on the floor in the bedroom.

Then go to bed early. Well sort of early anyway.

Hugs

It's good to see your lists and how much you accomplish. I find when I do an update, I've usually accomplished a lot more than I thought.

My JDI list for today looks like this -

- get myself ready for the day - I need to "pass through the waters" of my bathtub, get dressed and get to an appointment 1 hour from now.
- fold that load of laundry that's in the dryer
- evaluate if there's another load to do; if so, put it in the washer
- prep for Thurs Bible study; email lesson to A and D.
- work on MRRP proposal
- work on M's wedding gown and other sewing projects
- baby steps with those pesky "boxes"
- other tasks TBA

Hi everyone!
So sorry this is late. I just couldn't wake up this morning, when I went back after feeding the pets! I think it may be me adjusting to medications!

So, my list for today is:
Phone call
Work on some craft items
Get frig cleaned
Bake cookies
Trash out for pick up

Great going all of you. I will be back later.

Finished a BIG JDI for me today...went to DMV and renewed my driver's license. I was actually supposed to renew it online but I hated my current picture. The last time I took it, I had a beige sweater on and I look naked in the photo! It's embarrassing. :-) I put up with it for 5 years. Not only that but I had SHORT hair in my last picture and my hair is now halfway down my back.

Very pleased that there wasn't much of a wait either.

Another one taken care of, I called the car place and asked them if I can come by tomorrow. My driver door is making this loud popping noise when I open and close it, like something is wrong with the hinge. The car place is about 25 minutes away so I'll take a book with me and hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed then, if not at least they can diagnosis it.

Well done ChefSam! I had to get a new pic this year for my driver's licence - although my complaint was about the "old lady" who jumped in front of the camera! (I look much better at a distance when you can't see the wrinkles \:\) )

Mary, good to have you with us again!

Kim, you are doing great with your reading. You are a busy lady!

JDI update (accountability helps me accomplish more of my list \:\) )

- get myself ready for the day - I need to "pass through the waters" of my bathtub, get dressed and get to an appointment DONE
- fold that load of laundry that's in the dryer DONE
- evaluate if there's another load to do; if so, put it in the washer DONE; that load is dry although still in the dryer
- prep for Thurs Bible study; email lesson to A and D - DONE
- work on MRRP proposal - baby step DONE that's a huge YAY!
- work on M's wedding gown and other sewing projects baby step DONE (I have 3 quilt tops ready to quilt)
- baby steps with those pesky "boxes" - NOT DONE

While I was out with the car, I stopped at the grocery store and bought some groceries.

In addition to these things, I've been keeping up with routine stuff - making the bed, cooking and cleaning my kitchen.

I went looking for scrap fabric for making the fitting bodice for M's gown and found another sewing project to add to my list - making a skirt for me. I need a nice outfit for D(step)D's wedding the end of May. I have this really nice jacket - in neutral light beige colors. Today I "found" this pretty piece of fabric in my stash that looks awesome with that jacket! So will I have time to get that done too? Mind you, I will either need to take the time to sew or take the time to go shopping and it would be cheaper to make something.
