I'm avoiding posting a list (I can procastinate alittle bit longer about fine tuning a list right??) LOL! I don't want to deal with....... but on the other hand maybe it will help me --I got a serious case of the blahs.

-apply to jobs -apply to term position (upload resume)
-ETE'd/clean office space
-work on portfolio
-delete emails
-write 2 letters
-write 2 articles

Striving: I like how you work on your list. I see that I have some in for the long haul projects, and some that can be completed in shorter period of times ~ like an afternoon. Also, some that I can take with me. Hoping to better use my time so that I can keep chipping away at the longer projects and focus some time on getting the others done.

I tried to call the doctor (specialist) to whom I was referred by my doctor, only to be told that they no longer accept patients referred to them by my HMO!

Tried to call my doctor to give her this news only to reach a recording that the office was closed! The recording said their normal business hours were 8:00-5:00, but it is only 4:15 p.m. now!

I guess I'll try again tomorrow a.m.!

This wasn't on *the* list (and should've been), but I did dust my bedroom yesterday ~ achoo, achoo.

I keep looking at my list and there are several that I know I can complete fairly quickly. Just need to schedule them in...

Plugging away at several long term items.

I need to go to the post office and mail a bill. I've been putting this off but I really need to do this.

I also need to vacuum the kitchen floor, should have done it over the weekend but didn't.

I did go to the bank, of course it helps that I was depositing a check which is a good thing.

I need to finish or repaint our master bathroom. We got a new medicine cabinet installed about 2 yrs ago (maybe longer ) and I never touched up the walls where it was needed so I should do that. Why do they call it a medicine cabinet if they tell you not to put medicine in it?

I would like to paint the boys room. I've talked about doing it for so long that they probably think I'll never do it, so hopefully once it gets warmer I will do this.

I need to finish getting all the sport/school schedules updated in my new calendar.

I need to hem a pair of DS2 jeans. And I need to take out the hem and re-hem DS1 band pants so they are longer.

And I'd like to start scrapbooking again.

FOCUS, FOCUS,FOCUS, Turn It Up, on ONE thing at a time!
Obviously you have a list made up already, so pick one and do it! We know you can....but with all the other things on the list just take one and work on it, then move on to another one.
Don't even do them in order. It has to be overwhelming, but know that you have alot of people in the same boat as you, and with the babysteps we are making progress! One at a time.
Go for it!

Okay, I am excited. In looking over my list, I see that there are 10 things that are fun and won't take long to do! I am using them as rewards! There are 9 things that I can easily work into my daily/weekly schedule to work on in baby steps. and a list of 10 simple tasks ( I didn't list these here). Each time I work on a project I make a little mark beside it. When I've worked on it ten times or completed it then I will reward myself! Also, when I finish the list of 10 simple tasks.

I am hoping to have rewarded myself 10 times by the end of January!

(Dh is home, so I need to take advantage of his being chief cook and bottle washer )

Striving - I don't know whether to be embarrassed or pleased that you wanted to invite me along with the other procrastinators! But sure, why not, the more the merrier.

My priorities are going to be changing weekly right now through physical therapy (surgery went well), so my big goal for this week is to clean the kitchen up (not as hard as it sounds), and exercise enough to life my right leg. That's as far as I'm going.

I do have a major procrastination list made, but the only things I'm doing from that would be craft stuff in the evening. I'm supposed to sit for several hours in the evening with ice on, and that's when I'm doing knitting/crocheting/cross-stitch. I'm trying to work on projects that I can use for gifts later this year.
