Mary: You have a full week's menu completed. How awesome does that feel?
Great job.
Tonight we're having pizza and rootbeer. It's the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby and that's what they're providing for the scouts and families.

Tonight we are having Russian chicken. I made a double batch in the slow cooker so I will freeze the other half. I think we will have pork chops tomorrow night.

Didn't go grocery shopping this weekend, so, eating what I have on hand.
Brunch yesterday was homemade waffles with sliced apples.
Dinner was chicken curry, green beans and rice.
Roast beef sandwiches for today's lunch, with the last of the bread. Asian pear for DD; tangerine for me.
Dinner will be pasta with spaghetti sauce and ground beef.
Wed: Lunch will be leftover spaghetti. Dinner will be rice, with leftover chicken curry and green beans.
Not sure about Thursday's lunch, or Friday's, for that matter! I'd need to go grocery shopping to buy bread to make sandwiches.

Gals were worried about you Bless....you hadn't been posting. Hoping you are feeling okay, they said your blood sugar was a little high. I haven't been on so only repeating. (((((HUGS))))) and glad to see you posting.
Have to take Gypsy in for a recheck, and then heading back to the house for the festivities today. I will do errands tomorrow. This is a wonderful and exciting part of history I don't want to miss. I used a ton of tissues I was so moved by the masses and the beautiful readings and prayers (glad to see so many used), poems, and speech! Fantastic! TYG!

my menu planning got shot to he...
iues it snowed in mike's city, so he didn't come for chili. i ended up eating it for both lunch and dinner as i didn't think it would keep 'til thurs.
wed lorraine canceled out on me bc of a cold, so i put off my crab cake lunch until next wed. instead i had a chef's salad
thurs i ended up having chili for lunch instead of dinner bc mike wanted to go to burger king for dinner. he had whopper coupons and wanted to use them.
so out of 6 days i changed the menu on 3.
i came up with a menu for sat to sat
sat chef's salad mad hatter meat balls
sun lunch out with mike fried cheese
mon lunch meat sandwich stir fry
tues chef's salad hamburger soup
wed crab cakes, kidney beans, corn on the cob stir fry
thurs kimnachj soup broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breast, corn and beets
fri lunch meat sandwich, cookie quiche and salad
sat chef's salad quiche and kidney beans
mary
