Use wet dryer sheets (new, not used) to VERY EASILY wipe bugs off vehicles. Works on all parts..glass, chrome, body, etc. It's the only thing that has ever worked completely for me! Also, it puts a layer of protection on it as well to help repel (a little) Just do this and then rinse off the residue. SIMPLE!

A wine rack can make a great holder for rolled up towels or magazines.

I had a lightbulb moment on the 2 tiered letter tray, jumped up to check it out and when I came back I realized I was a year behind, LOL.

anyway, I have 6 stacking ones that can be separated and I use them in a number of ways:

upside down and used as a spacer between my rubber stamp sets so that I don't have to remove the whole stack if I want the one on the bottom.

as a paper holder ~ one tray for regular printer paper, the other for photopaper/resume paper, or one tray for scrap paper /paper printed on one side that can be used for printing non-essentials

stapler, hole punch, paper clips, box of cheques on one, receipts binder clipped together waiting to be reconciled with statement.

and what i just discovered: on the craft shelves to hold punches so don't have to dig through drawer...

I'm thinking a wine rack on my pantry shelf might work good for organizing rolls of plastic wrap, aluminum foil, wax paper, etc. I haven't done this yet because I'm still looking for one that has square cubbies, not rounded cubbies plus that doesn't cost a small fortune.

Darlene,
Ask DH to build you one! It would be easy to make one with 1 x 4"s.

Actually, there is a company that makes one for the pantry shelf to hold those rolls. I used it in a home a few years ago. Might not make it anymore.

Oh, just found one....google kitchen wrap organizer.

I use empty plastic cosmetics jars to hold screws.

My boss used to have a pot without a lid full of screws. Of course I managed to empty it once or twice...

The "body butter" ones are really good for this, and you can use the smaller ones for specific types of screws. This is particularly useful if several people are using these screws. Men tend to use small chests with tiny drawers for screws and washers. But they often end up upended.

If you formerly had CD's in boxes, say the wooden ones from Ikea, and have now taken them out of their covers and stored in binders, you can reuse the boxes for storage of cameras and other electronics. Put the electronics in pouches or bags, and then stuff them into those boxes. Those boxes often also fit into shelves.

I saw a neat idea where clean empty paint cans (you can buy them new w/o labels at home improvement stores) were installed (screwed) to the wall side-by-side or in any design you choose. You can then store any items you like in the cans - spices, towels, magazines, etc. The cans also come in various sizes.

CO, that's an unusual idea for paint cans!

I have several necklaces that tend to get tangled up so found a great way to keep them in a drawer but separate from each other. There are pill holders (for holding your daily doses of pills) that are round and screw together. I unscrewed them and use each separate round one to hold a single necklace. They work beautifully to keep the necklaces from getting tangled and several of them fit into a drawer.
