Do you have a New Year's business goal you want to share? You may find others that can help you achieve your goal.

I've quite a few "wish-I-coulds" running around in my head. During 09, I'd like to continue to add to the things that I can sell to clients or at speaking engagements. I'd also like to learn and do more with internet marketing.

How about you?

I started a thread about this same idea today, Lea in which I call it Life Changes.

http://www.getorganizednow.com/forum/ubb...true#Post174926

I will add my goals to the list.

There are 7 areas I need to improve:

1. Be healthier and lose 20 lbs (HEALTH/FITNESS)
2. Schedule - (TIME MANAGEMENT)
3. Create a household budget (MONEY)
4. Improve my personal relationships (FAMILY/FRIENDS)
5. Create an appropriate filing system (HOUSEHOLD)
6. Start volunteering in my new community (COMMUNITY)
7. Taking time for myself each day (ME TIME)

Thanks Tiny Tina! But how will you have to use organizing to achieve number one?

No problem Lea.

There are a few ways I need to use organizing to help in my quest to lose weight.

1. Make a meal plan
2. Stick to a monthly budget (need to find extra money to join a gym or workout class plus better food)
3. Organizing a schedule that allows me to find time both to cook healthier food and exercise

Very good points Tina!

No matter our goals, we can't achieve them without some kind of organizing.

In order to increase products to sell, I need to block out time to work on that. I can't simply wait until I have nothing else to do and hope I'll find the time! I'll have to organize my schedule to include the goal activity.

Hi there everyone!
My goals for the coming year are to:
1. Lose a few pounds (I gained a about five when I had mono recently)-for this I need to organize myself to bring snacks/water with me out of the house instead of picking something up and then falling prey to whatever is available.
2. I want to save more. I need to plan ahead and organize my monthly expenses better for this one.
3. I want to (possibly) move. Again this falls requires I organize my time to look at places, and my finances to move into a larger place or a better location.
4. I want to do better at scheduling my vacation time. I need to organize things better with family for this one!
5. I'd like to expand my business with one to two books, a product and possibly an employee. I have LOTS of organizing to do this, but when my personal life is in order, my professional life follow suit!

There are several goals I want to reach this coming year.

1. Save money. When DH lost his job we had VERY little to fall back on. I don't want this to happen again! I plan to put a substantial (yet to be determined) amount from each check into savings from each weeks pay.

2. Get my mobile studio supplies more organized! When I went on a shoot this weekend I forgot my sales price and sample book!! I will make a list of the essentials needing to go on each shoot and make sure I check off the list as I am loading the car.

3. Declutter!!! For once and for all I want to declutter my home. I plan to get rid of at least 3 items per week by either tossing, donating or re-gifting.

Got my one goal covered just before Christmas - I hired 2 assistants finally! One for the office, and one for in the field to either work alongside me, or on smaller jobs. Both start this Monday, and I already feel the stress rolling off my shoulders. 2009 hopefully will be easier on me than previous years. My company can now cover more ground, and I don't have to be stressed getting from Point A to Point B. No other goals come to mind - I like to take things as they come.
