Just popping in to wish you all a Merry Christmas! Will probably be super busy after work the next couple of days with last minute holiday details.
Wishing you all a warm and cozy holiday, filled with family, friends, good food, and joy! Blessings!

I think I can see the end of the long christmas preparation list. This is exciting. Today I did a load of laundry. I picked up some ribbon and purchased groceries. I hope I don't have to go out anymore. But I've allowed myself enough time in case I forgot something or need something at the last minute.
If I can squeeze out a little more energy tonight I'll wrap a few gifts.
Bless- Hope you and DD are feeling better soon.

Called the school where I'm student teaching and left a message for the teacher I'm under. Hope she returns my call tomorrow, I really don't want to wait to talk to her until January. Cleaned up the kitchen this morning. Cleared and wiped down counters. Emptied, refilled, and started the dishwasher. Did a small load of laundry. Put away clean clothes that have been piling up. Wrapped up the presents for my friends. Finished scrapping EVERYTHING in my concert memorabilia pile...and superglued my fingers together in the process. Am going to try and finish the pillows for my cousins tonight. And get them wrapped up.

Bonnie: I should probably start complaining, I know many people have it much worse, yourself included. The lowest it got here was 7 overnight, but as you know, we just aren't used to it. And people still drive like maniacs, that is the part that bothers me.
Dianaro: LOL, we keep saying it's bikini weather when it gets to the mid 30's....almost feels like it after all the cold temps.
Wendy: Great job on the mailing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The chains on the van today worked great. We have never had them on before and they are loud. By afternoon the highways were plowed and we really only needed them on the side roads. We were stopped at a light after DH picked me up from work and someone yelled to get our attention.......we had a flat rear tire! Nice, nothing like changing a tire in the snow. Glad it was just DH and I at the time. So tomorrow after DH drops me at the office he will take the van in for a new tire. Funny part was DH looked at that particular tire this morning and thought it needed to be replaced, looking a bit worn. Picked up a huge jagged rock and that definitely did it in.
DS had fun sledding with this friends and then playing when they got back here. Their parents were able to get their shopping all done. They just got picked up and now it's time to get our kids settled and into bed. DH and I will watch a movie and we really MUST start wrapping gifts.

Everyone seems to have the holiday under control!!! I still have a ga-zillion things to do. whatever gets done, gets done.
We have a lot of snow here also, I am tired of shovelling, need to do some more today, I have no parking for company as the town plowed in my parking spaces, and Mom's also. It was bitter cold here yesterday too!!
My DGF (the one who moved to TN) is in town, she stopped by yesterday for a visit. Was great to see her!!!
Been doing tons of work in the house while snowed in. Got the house deep cleaned! I even waxed the kitchen floor last night!! It looks great this morning, despite it's age!!
If I don't get back on before the holiday, I would like to wish everyone a safe, happy celebration!!!!

Well another snow storm, spoke with DD2 this morning and as their is a winter advisory, (of course it is hitting in southern WI. and Northern IL) I told them to wait until tomorrow. It will be lovely, to see them and I know the roads (hopefully) will be better.
Jodi: Glad you and DH were safe in the snow even with the chains and the flat tire. TYG.
Wendy: Great going my dear! Have to just let it all take it's course and plan and you are fine!
Music: Hope the teacher calls you too, but might be gone now on christmas break.
CO: The same to you and yours.
heideemarie You have done great! ((((HUGS)))to you.
Waterlady: You sure didn't waste your stuck inside time! WHOOOOOOO HOOOO That is teriffic. I hear you on the shoveling! Thought the plows were redoing the streets, didn't expect MORE SNOW!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If I am missing it is because of the company arriving and cooking for our Christmas eve tomorrow. Just know I wish each and every one of you a wonderful and blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Yesterday I worked, then did a little around the house. Mostly PUPA & ETE but I also stripped the bed & flipped the mattress, made a ton of Koolaid, connected the vcr to the tv in the BR and refilled the Glade plug-ins with gingerbread scent YUM Then i watched a movie with some sugar free hot cocoa and called it a night.
Not much to report here...made a bundt cake last nite to bring to work today as well as fruit salad (that noone ate bc there was a better fruit salad!). Had a great work potluck lunch. Bypassed zumba class bc DH called and was worried bc he couldn't find the kitty that we are watching for family. Came home and she is racing around the house...was sleeping in our drawers all day. Tmorrow am working then going to BIL/gf's house for xmas eve dinner.
Just relaxing and then taking DH to K&W cafeteria for dinner..am craving a good salad and not sure what else. Have alot to do at work in my last two days there this week before two week vacation. Good nite all!
Today I tried to hook up a stereo to the vcr/tv rig I did yesterday but no-go. VCR's too old and doesn't have the connections I need. Today was also Paper Day. I decluttered a file folder of manuals and was able to throw a few more out. I also shredded more old papers. Filled up the shredder basket 3 times! I decluttered a little in the utility room and managed to recycle a half dozen more boxes as well as finding the glass panel to my front storm door. Cleaned the glass panel, took out the screen panel & installed the glass panel. LR feels warmer already! Laundered some handwashables (wool is a pain LOL) Did some PUPA & ETE, cleaned up the kitchen (sink, counters and kitchen table look terrific!) and took out the trash Made a BIG batch of penne rigate with a meatless sauce and after having some for dinner, portioned out the rest and froze some. Now I'm going to relax, watch some Ty Pennington and call it a night! Have a marvelous evening!
