Haven't posted in a while. Hope everyone had a great holiday!
Was up late last night watching a movie, so slept in until 1 (yikes!). I really need to try to get on a good sleeping schedule. Planned out what I need to make for my New Year's Eve party. Made a list of what I have, and what I need to get. Finally got around to putting away the stuff I got for Christmas.
Went through my dresser and put some clothes aside to donate/toss. Reorganized my dresser a bit. Still need to reorganize my DVDs. I got a few as gifts, but I can't fit them in the way they are now. Will probably do that tonight.

Last week I chose not to go to the gym - too much to do. But I'm back to my normal exercise schedule. But just missing a week makes it harder to get back on track. So I'm a bit more tired today.
I washed two loads of laundry and ironed today. I made my monthly pages for 2009 for my EO. I also cleaned out a couple of sections in my EO. I've already added some January committments to my newly set up calender pages.

Wendy - I am so glad that somewhere out there someone has time to prepare healthy food.
Music - Make your sleep number one. It helps in these hectic times.....
Heidi - I wish I could go to the gym, even once a week. What is your exercise schedule like, cause I can't seem to do it.
Alread at work. Slept late working on a contract, so I'm very tired.

Since I didn't take down the decorations, that's on the agenda for today. Just want the house back to normal. DH even noticed that we haven't had the LR normal since I started the kitchen redo. So it's long overdue!
We'll see what else I can accomplish. I already started another load of laundry. Will keep that going until it's completed and put away.
Cya!

Today I am going to try and get the house presentable for our New Years party. I'm not too terribly worried, there will be lots of kids running around wrecking havoc anyways!!! I found out there will be no funeral for my father. His family doesn't have the money and unfortunatly either do us kids. He was cremated and will be spread on his favorite fishing lake in Ontario in the summer. So we have to try to make arrangements to fly out there. I think I will just go alone. My DH only met him a handful of times and the kids didn't know him at all.

Jenn- so sad for the lose of your dad {{{{HUGS}}}} I only have a few things left to do with my photography that has to get done soon. Then I can turn my thoughts to other things. My brain needs the rest!! Currently cooking breakfast, and washed most all of the dishes. There is a stack of dirty flatware staring at me. I don't know why I hate washing the utensils so much, but I tend to let them pile up, only washing what I really need. We have way too many forks, spoons etc. So, I have decided to toss the small forks at least, the tiny ones intended for salad and dessert. We never really use them, DH hands are too big and they are small even for me. So, out they go! Less to wash. Being only the two of us we don't need that many!! When I go back in the kitchen I plan to empty out the drawer of the stand alone cabinet. One, because I spilled water in it and two, because it has lots of stuff in it I never use. Will try to make better use of my drawers and cabinets. Not sure what I have for the rest of the day, but I will pop in from time to time and update!

Looks like everyone has good things being accomplished.
mapster, best wishes on your move. Sounds like you're well prepared for it! Good job!
Diana, your weekend getaway sounds wonderful! What a great idea.
Wendy, go figure you'd be ready for your living room to be back to normal! LOL YUM homemade bread! It's the best!
Rachel, good job on clearing out things from the dresser for donations.
Heidi, good job on getting back into working out...the hardest step is that first one going back!
Jenn, sounds like you are going to have a very active New Year's Eve! LOL
Kristil....good job on washing dishes while breakfast is cooking. Have you thought of keeping a wash basin in the sink with hot soapy water for the utensils to soak? Will take less time to wash them. But, it's an excellent idea to get rid of the excess.
I've not been very productive the last several days...fighting this head cold has taken almost all of my energy. I'll be very glad when it's gone! I hate feeling muddled and fuzzy....
I've got laundry going this morning...have changed the bathroom towels and will change the sheets after work (they're in the dryer now). Not sure if I'll get much more than that done but we'll see how I feel after work. Afternoons haven't been very active for me the last few days! LOL

Good morning, all.
Yesterday, paid the insurance bills. Then, went to the Mall and I bought 2 belated C-mas gifts, a white turtle neck sweater for DD and some lotion for myself. Then, we went to the second hand book store - every book is $1.00 - and bought 16 books to read! Came home and spent the evening reading, posting, knitting, etc.
No major plans for today, although, I would like to venture out to replenish some of my C'mas supplies - I have plenty of wrap and bows, but would like some gift bags.
I also want to make a quick trip to the grocery store for some fresh fruits and veggies.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Bless, knitting, posting and reading sound like a great way to spend an evening! Now is a good time to pick up on those gift bags too - everyone has great sales going on.
