I'm sure that no one will probably see this 'til tomorrow... Yesterday I worked, then went grocery shopping with the $20 gift card my job gave me. Then I make sweets to put out on the snack table @ work. I made Raspberry Pastry Rollups, Butter Pecan Shortbread cookies & Jam filled Christmas Cookies. Then I sat down to a movie & a hot cocoa... Today (Christmas) I'm working. Have a Happy Holiday! HOHOHO

Merry Christmas Everyone!!
Got the presents done yesterday and had a good time with Linda and her kids. Today's just time for DH and the girls! Should be fun!
Tomorrow my inloves are coming. Still have a few things to do to prepare for them, like before, they're finishing touches. Shouldn't take long.
Cya!

Merry Christmas, everyone.
I've been missing in action partly because I am having bronchitis and mostly because I am having problems with my internet connections at home.
On Friday, as I walked to the car after work, I found myself gasping for breath. I took my inhaler and managed to drive myself home, picking up the cat from the vet on my way.
Slept most of the evening. Later, at night, found myself gasping for breath, again. DD got scared and called the paramedics. I took a breathing treatment, but declined to go to the hospital.
The next day, I finally went to the doctor who diagnosed bronchitis and asthma. 2 breathing treatments and a steroids shot and antibiotics and 2 days off from work.
I went to the pharmacy to fill the prescriptions and while they were working on that, I went to the office to finish up a couple of things I had promised people and to fill out my time sheets. Also had to talk to our Personnel people about my sick leave because the doctor said I could come back to work the day after Christmas which was when I was supposed to start my vacation. But they said there won't be a problem with that and scolded me for coming in with bronchitis and told me to go home.
Which I did, after I picked up my prescriptions. I've spent the last 2 days sleeping. My DD has been waiting on me, hand and foot, giving me my medications on time (she made a chart and everything), preparing my meals, doing the dishes, etc. even though she is still recovering from her own cold and cough.
Needless to say, I couldn't finish all my Christmas preparations. Oh, well. Christmas still arrived, inspite of a lack of decorations and tree and stockings.
It's a wet Christmas here. We've been invited to my friend's house to Christmas dinner, but I am not sure if I will go or not. I am finally feeling better, but don't want to go out in the rain and get exposed and have a relapse.
Maybe a quiet day at home might be best.
Hope you are all having a wonderful time with family and friends.
Happy Christmas, everyone.

Merry Christmas everyone!
CC...good job on what you got done yesterday. Yummo on the sweets you made!
Wendy, enjoy the family day and the inloves!
fleur, cute pics of the dog and cat....I'm in awe that you got a cat to sit still long enough to put a sweater on him! LOL
Bless, don't blame them at work for telling you to go home! I'm glad to see you are starting to feel better. You have a wonderful dd...I'm impressed at her thoroughness! The best Christmas gift of all!
We're having a very laid back restful day. Dgd is very happy with her gifts - it's the Wii Christmas for her! LOL She's happily playing away at one of her games.
Merry Christmas!

As yesterday was Christmas I didn't do anything save going into work. We served the residents prime rib, baked potato, asparagus w/hollandaise and lemon meringue pie. It was a crazy insane day but the residents were happy so I'm happy. Now it's time for me to get back to it around here. Clutter waits for no holiday LOL Hope everyone had an excellent Christmas! Been a bit since I posted. Made it through Christmas. Saw my Mom which I didn't think would happen and spent the rest of the day relaxing with DH. Fleur- cute pics!! Kitty looks somewhat baffled at his new sweater! Have been working so much, haven't had time to do anything at home. Worked both Christmas Eve and will go in today for half day. Today is trash day and there is so much that needs to go out! I'll get what I can done and not stress about the rest. Have a shoot tomorrow for a family of 13. Will probably take awhile to do. Then showing and selling the pictures. This family was a customer at the portrait studio and decided that this year they want me to do it for them at their home. As I remember, they bought a ton of photos, so hopefully will be a good sale!! Sunday I have the option to work or not and I am opting to NOT. Going to make it a marathon day at the laundry mat!! That's all for now. Just wanted to check in. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Look forward to getting back on a regular schedule so I can get my decluttering and organizing back on track!

Kristil, I'm glad you are taking Sunday off, but sorry you have to spend it doing laundry. Maybe you can relax a bit while the clothes are washing. Maybe you can take book to read or some handwork to do. I would say to take a nap, but you may lose your clothes that way! I do hope these people buy a ton of pictures and make you lots of money. What a compliment to want you to do the pictures for them. Good idea not to stress over what you can't get done. Just do what you can.
