I have literally over 5K emails that I have got to toss! I really want to get it done today although I have SO many other things to do as well. I figure if I do something like toss in a load of laundry and then come back and get rid of maybe 1000 then I won't feel like I'm just stuck here at my computer!

Anyone else want to join me? :-)

Tina, FANTASTIC!

I have also shredded a ton of stuff. Believe it or not, I never plugged my shredder in after we moved here in July and had a heck of a pile. It's about 75% done but I'm letting the shredder rest. I USUALLY keep it under my desk and shred everything the second it needs to be done. Better get back to that.

Deleted 50 more and then of course got bogged down in sending a bunch because I saw lots of emails that I had sent for work stuff that the recipients never completed what I asked them to do! GGRRRR!

Chef, do you have yours sorted by sender? I find that I can delete more efficiently when I have them grouped that way.

(I need to do this, too... Right! I commit to right now going and deleting 50 email!)

I'm back... and found 225 to delete, instead of 50. That wasn't so bad!

I have them sorted by date but when I do this I click the button on top so it does resort them by sender and you're right, makes it way easier.

Just did 300 more.

Update at 4pm - 60 more but I had taken a break to watch ER, toss in a load of towels and break my toe (yes, I'm pretty sure I mean that literally.)

Need to do as well. Have about 1977. Have deleted 50 so far. I'm much slower at it than you guys are.

Ouch on the toe. I have done that & IT IS SO PAINFUL & now you will bump that toe so many times throughout the day... You would never notice it before, but you sure will notice it now. I also had my bare foot stepped on by a 17-hand quarter horse when I was about 12. Yes, we were certainly safety conscious back in those days! Just threw on a halter & pretended I was Little Joe from Bonanza & off I took loping up the knoll bare foot, horse bareback, & probably didn't tell anyone where I was going, either!

So, planning to get rid of 100 more today. 4:30 a.m. right now & have been working on them 1 hr. & need to take a break. My book is calling me.--Suzy

WTG everyone!
