Okay, I can do this for 2 more weeks, then it's back to school and I'll need YOU to tell ME to take me time!

what are you doing to be good to yourself?

yesterday was county fair, today was working out, tomorrow is hiking, and the next day is biking w/DGF!

I have to give myself a manicure and pedicure tonight. Weeding without gloves was not a good idea.

Last night I went to see "Mamma Mia" with my DS and BIL and sang along with the music.

Going to church every Sunday, and getting involved in two of the groups for Christian socializing.

Will be attending a Leadership Seminar in Oklahoma City, hosted by the professional association I belong to.

Playing with my dog every morning and evening.

Doing yoga 3-4 times a week, for 25-30 minutes each time.

Working on not sweating the small stuff (like not mowing the grass/weeds until the weather cools off).

DD and I are off to San Francisco for the day to see the Giants play the Braves. Should be interesting...I've never driven to there from here. I think it's about the same distance (2 hours) as it was from our last house but now we're going southwest instead of due north. Shouldn't be hard, it's pretty major freeways until you get to the Bay Bridge which I've never liked.

My MIL is coming for a visit tomorrow which would be stressful in and of itself without adding the fact that the house is a raging disaster from the move. You know what? I couldn't care less. It's much more important that I spend the day in the city with DD. She starts school on Monday. What will she remember in a few years? That we went to the ball game or that I stayed home and cleaned the house? She may not remember anyway since we go to at least 10 games a year but you get the point.

I still haven't gotten to my manicure pedicure, thankfully it's been raining so the sandals are away.

It sounds like many of us are having a hard time fitting in any time for ourselves. I hope you all are enjoying the summer. I know for me the summer is flying by and now that I have a definate moving date crunch time has started. I'll try to sneak some extra time in for myself.
