  April, 2008 ____ Apr 1 April Fool’s Day--Make sure you enjoy a laugh or two today. ____ Apr 2 Decide and make your spring cleaning list. It might be easiest to divide it up by room. ____ Apr 3 Wash your automatic coffee maker. Make sure to run white vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits in the machine. ____ Apr 4 Visit your local library, and check out a book or two for each member of the family. Take some time each day this week to enjoy a few spare minutes reading. ____ Apr 5 Toss old socks that no longer have mates. ____ Apr 6 Make a non-perishable food donation to a local food pantry or pet supplies to a local animal shelter. ____ Apr 7 Wash and scrub out or hose out your garbage cans. ____ Apr 8 Toss any junk mail. ____ Apr 9 Wipe your blinds or wash your curtains in at least one room. ____ Apr 10 Throw away any old magazines or catalogs that are no longer read, used, or expired. Now available in both print and digital PDF format. ____ Apr 11 Clear one surface, any surface –dining room table, kitchen counter, dresser, coffee table or a nightstand. ____ Apr 12 Go for a walk, jog, a run, or a bike ride in order to enjoy some of the fresh spring air. ____ Apr 13 Give away or sell 5 books you no longer enjoy, need or want. ____ Apr 14 Clean your toothbrush holder and get some new toothbrushes. ____ Apr 15 Delete at least 20 files from your computer hard drive you no longer need or use. ____ Apr 16 Look ahead to the next couple of months and buy ahead some holiday cards (Father’s and Mother’s Days for example). ____ Apr 17 Clean your windows inside and out, or hire someone to do it. ____ Apr 18 Gather your garden supplies and tools together. Make sure they are in clean and in working order. ____ Apr 19 The Jewish Celebration of Passover begins at Sunset. If you celebrate Passover, use your checklist (you do have one, right?) to ensure all important details are remembered. ____ Apr 20 Return at least 2 items you have borrowed in the last few months.
