Always Confirm Appointments

I had my daughter’s annual doctor appointment scheduled on my calendar today, but I never got a confirmation call from the doctor’s office yesterday like they usually do. Luckily, I called to confirm the appointment because when I did, the receptionist told me she had us scheduled for next Friday at 11:00 am. I would have never made that appointment, since I have tons of stuff going on that day AND because Amanda is in school at that time. So obviously, something went awry with the calendar system at the doctor’s office.

While I was slightly annoyed by the error, because I called ahead to check I saved myself a 30 minute trip which would have been wasted time and fuel.

Bottom line, always call ahead and confirm appointments. Obviously errors happen, but you don’t want your time to be wasted because of them.
