Summer Project:

Storing School Awards, Artwork, and A's

If you have children in school, chances are they've been bringing home artwork, award certificates, and essays or other school papers they're proud of. Many kids are in school 180 days or more each year--that's a lot of paper coming home. If you are keeping it all, before you know it, it's going to grow until it's out-of-control.

Here's what I do. Visit:

Act quick--this offer ends this Friday!

Now You Can Have MORE TIME for Yourself, the People You Care About, Your Hobbies, Your Success, or for Anything You Love To Do!

People are always asking me how they can find more time in their lives...

* I would love to do (you fill in the blank), but there's just not enough time

* I wish I could spend more quality time with my loved ones and/or my friends

* There's just not enough hours in the day to get everything done, etc. etc. etc.

Do you wonder why you're always struggling with your endless to do list, limited time for yourself and others, and not even enough hours to get a meal on the table or a good night's sleep?

If your lack of time frustrates you, you can bet that it's frustrating those around you too. A lack of time is one of the biggest contributors to the stress and chaos in so many of our lives.

Do you ever envy 'lucky' people who seem to have all the time in the world to do everything they want and never seem frazzled or frustrated?

Why is time such a frustration for many...and not a problem for others?

The answer is--those who have mastered time know certain time 'secrets' that others don't.

There was so much interest in this particular subject, that I took the 'time' to write a book called, '501 Tips and Ideas for Finding More Time for the Things You Love.'

Visit:
http://www.getorganizednow.com/time.html

P.S. Speaking of time, this is the VERY BEST TIME to secure a copy of my new 'Finding More Time' book BECAUSE I'm offering $150 in bonuses that you'll learn about when you visit the link.

PLUS, as a special Sweet Summer Deal, that ends this coming Friday, I'm also giving away an additional $100 in un-advertised e-bonuses as follows...

* How to Be Happy Every Day

* How to Practice the Art of Life Balance

* The Power of Frustration...and How to Overcome It

AND...ONLY FOR THE FIRST 250 CUSTOMERS...

* Managing Money for All Ages

that's $250 bonuses in all, plus one more great bonus if you're one of our first 250 customers!

I'm sure you'll agree that's a smokin' hot summer offer!

  NEW Organizing Wisdom and Advice

Mid-Year New Year's Resolution Update

In January, you enthusiastically started planning how this year was going to be better than last. You were going to take a long brisk walk every morning, you were going to lose weight, and you were finally going to organize your files and your closet.

Already, the year is half over! If you haven't stuck with your goals, it’s never too late for a mid-course correction.

* * * * * * *

1) Forgive yourself

First of all, you need to forgive yourself. Blame and guilt are unproductive and will just keep you from attaining your goals.

* * * * * * *

2) Review your resolutions/rethink your goals

Did you make a laundry list of resolutions to achieve? A long list of to-do items is a wish-list, not a resolution or goal. Choose one or two items from your wish-list you think you can accomplish, and write those down on a separate piece of paper.

* * * * * * *

3) Break down your goals

Every goal is achieved by taking a number of small steps. For instance, to shed some pounds, you need to learn how to eat better, and how to appropriately exercise. don't try to accomplish both of these lifestyle changes simultaneously. Start with exercising. Develop your exercise regime, make it a habit. Then incorporate a healthy diet.

* * * * * * *

4) Write them down

Grab a notebook and pen. Jot down all the steps you can think of, then arrange them in the order you need to do them.

* * * * * * *

5) Get started

Begin by researching your resolution on the Internet. Then make some decisions, like hiring a personal trainer, making an appointment with your doctor or nurse practitioner, organizing one room of your house, etc.

* * * * * * *

6) Set up a support system

Your support system (the person or people who will be cheering you on) may be different for each goal. Perhaps your best friend would be on the team for your weight goal, and your mom would be on your team for your organizing goal, and your husband would be on your team for your career goal.

* * * * * * *

7) Accept imperfection

Observe a Zumba class at a fitness center. That stay-at- home mom will never dance on Broadway, but she's moving with the music, getting her heart rate up, and having fun with her friends. The first scarf you knit will probably look lumpy and be uneven, but it’s a start. The next one will be better. Walking to the mailbox twice a day is better than once, and 3 times is even better. ‘Success will never be a big step in the future, success is a small step taken just now’.

* * * * * * *

8) Prepare your environment

Make it easier to take that early morning walk by setting out your sweats and sneakers each night. Remove diet temptation by banning junk food from your house or limit it by stocking only miniature candy bars or snack size bags of chips. Clear out a bookcase or closet, before you start reorganizing.

* * * * * * *

9) Picture yourself

Close your eyes. Relax. Visualize yourself reaching your goals--getting your diploma, wearing jeans a size or even two smaller, enjoying a wonderful vacation on a sandy beach. Visualize your daily actions--studying, eating healthy, skipping your daily latte and instead putting extra money in your bank account.

  Final Thoughts

In Closing

'If you're trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I've had them. Everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.'

-- Michael Jordan
