Each night, I gathered a handful and scanned each piece of artwork into the computer. After the items were scanned and saved, I recycled the original. When the kids move away, I'll give them their CDs with all their art work on them so that they have them to treasure for a lifetime--without taking up much room. When an article of clothing is taken out but no longer fits, is no longer in style, is worn out, or needs repair, etc., it is NOT put back in a closet or dresser drawer.
